Profile Information

I love to write!  I have written a lot of personal things and recieved comments back from friends and acquaintences about how much they like the way I write. None of them are professionals, and of course I am not a pro yet either.

So I decided to see if other writer's enjoyed my style and writing too, although it's a little different, as most of my writings have been very short stories, journal entries, letters, song lyrics, and lots of poems.  I've been writing poetry since I was 15 or 16.

I often find myself narrating the scenes of my everyday life, telling the story in my head as I go about my life ~ "As I pulled into the the carpool lane at the school, I thought about what I should make for dinner,  Mac and Cheese would be perfect. I could cut up a few apples, and 'viola' a gourmet meal.  "Mom, can I go to Carly's house?" outside my window rolled down window, my daughter was standing next to who I assumed to be 'Carly', with her lower lip stuck out and droopy eyes. "You scare the crap outta me!" I snapped, "and you know the rules, I don't know Carly's parents yet, so the answer is 'no'". I said in my mommy voice that I didn't think every sounded like the 'true' me.  "Sorry Carly" I heard my daughter say as she got into the car, I knew she was sad, but I stuck to my rules, and I thought that was a dam good one.  "How was your day Sweetie?" I asked.  Bella folded her arms, gave me the death look and remained silent the entire way home.  I turned up the 80's xm channel and sang loudly.  "You need to take the trash and recycling out Bella" I said as I pulled my SUV into the garage, "and do you have any homework?" I added. "Just stop talking to me mom!" Bella yelled. "Watch it" I warned "That's not how you talk to your mother, Bella" I said.  "Well, just stop talking mom! Can't you tell I don't want to be talked to?" she raged as she slammed the door to the house.  I closed the garage door and hurried inside, "hold it right there, now you've lost privileges, go get me your iPad" I said calmly.  Bella stomped up the stairs.  "Keep that up and you can bring my you cell phone too" I called after her.

*Thanks to all that read that little piece of what goes on in my mind on a daily basis.

I thought, no one wants to read about their daily lives.  And if they do, they'll find it in the "Self Help" section. Now I have nothing against self help books, as I have purchased many, they make terrific coasters!    I have read and continue to read a wide variety of things that I feel will help me be a better person, from religious books of various faiths to Autobiographies to Erotica to joke books!  And I love it all.  But I absolutely love getting lost in a great story.  I decided to try erotica first because I think people that the majority of people that read erotica are open minded.  I am also sick of sex being such a "taboo" subject and the fact the "50 Shades of Grey" is now earned a new word in the dictionary - mommy porn!  I'm pretty sure it's a compound word.  I also feel that erotica allows writers to be free, with language, description, imagination, telling true experiences or even half true experiences.  When you open the book, the website, the magazine and read don't let other's views of "erotica" make you feel guilty.  Be proud of who you are and what you love. That's what makes you, YOU!

Please feel free to make comments and suggestions, and any advice would be appreciated. I believe in constructive criticism but I don't believe in being mean.  It's obvious some people on this site are A LOT better writers than others, and most of us are looking for help and support. Thanks to all that have read my stories so far. I hope I can continue to entertain you and take you to different place for a few minutes.

Thanks for stopping by my profile page, see you in the "writer's den" friends.
