Greetings: I began writing as a hobby in 1968. As a student in middle school whenever an book report assignment was given I created my own story which I submitted as Author Unknown. I enjoyed the look of interest and entertainment I received from my classmates.
In highschool: I penned a society coloum for the local newspaper. I and my mother/ editor covered the engagements, weddings, sons and daughters who were home from military school or the service. I learned many valuable lessons during this time. There is a stern line between journalism and creative writing. I chose the latter.
As a shy reclusive personality I wrote fantasies, for my own amusement. As might be expected, some of my fantasies landed me in serious trouble with the pious religious community to which my mother belonged. I thrwived on the attention.
