Poetry is not for the shallow or fearful, selfish or shelled. It forces me to delve inside to draw on ancient rhymes and rhythms which hold oceans of memories and holy moments. Poetry is my connection to that place that appreciates the human spirit and allows me to grasp bits and pieces of meaningful words to put into phrases that hold sweet and bitter Truths. Syllables are the pulse that demands interpretation like wind strumming on the web of life. I believe Poetry is the celebration of plasma potential. Beyond the thought, the plastic pen, the pale page, the crypt of keyboard and the tapping of my fingertips are the feelings of triumphs, terror, daring, death, exile, angst, love, leavings, burdens and bounties that are expressed. I answer the questions and fill the emptiness’ and poetry, emits Lazarus- dead emotions and forces me to meet my faith, head-on, heart-on, and soulfully. It eases the soul and the daily drudge of life. It allows me reconnection to Holy in the hollow of my heart.
