Guide For Writing Gay Erotica, Basic Tips

I've been writing stories that involve gay sex for 2 years, and still is. In my opinion, I think gay erotica is hot/sexy, it's art, and it explains how two men make love to each other in a very creative way. Though I cannot reveal my own gender due to certified reasons, I must say, I’m obsess with gay men. I respect them becuase of all the shit they have to go through/put up with from society nowadays.

Sex in Gay Erotica Stories

I really, really love writing sex in stories. But I’ve personally read some short stories, and when it came to the sex scene, it turns me off. Just like that. The reason is, is that the writers either makes mistakes with their characters while they are fucking. If your character is going to get fucked for the first time, or after he took a long break from it, he has to get prepared first. Because trust me, it will painful for him. Some writers just go ahead and let their dominant character bend the other guy over and stick his dick inside of him. Hm. And by “prepared”, I’m talking about “fingering” or “scissoring”. Also, while your character is getting fingered, make the other guy who's doing it caress the bottom's body, or suck him off at the same time so it'll feel better to him. Don't you think it would be awkward if your character is getting fingered and he's not enjoying it? Have him enjoy it, and make the scene realistic. As for when he's about to get filled with dick for the first time, let the dominant character thrust into him slowly, so he can get use to the pain. Once he gets use to it, now your dominant character can carry on bad and fuck the other with all his might. And another mistake in stories I notice is when they're fucking, only the guy who is get penetrated is moaning. The top also have to moan, groan, gasp, ad pant, because he's also getting penetrated from the feeling of his dick buried inside a guy's warm, tight hole. You can also let them exchange words to make the sex scene more hotter. For example...

“ You like that?” He whispered in my ear and I quickly nodded, moaning like a porn-star.

“O-Oh God yes!” I managed to reply while he violated inside of me with his cock.

“H-Harder please!” I scream out again, squeezing a fist full of the bed sheet on the side of me. I couldn't stop begging for more.

Just remember, sex is either for lust, or pleasure. Usually beginners make the mistakes I mentioned. There are a lot of stories out there with a great and perfect gay sex scene. Your scene should be able to let your readers masturbate from it, and let it play in their head like a movie. Sex toys such as dildos or butt plugs can also be involve.

Drama in Gay Erotica Stories

I really don't like to add so much drama in my stories, in my life, I’m already surrounded by drama. But, no matter how much I hate it, I HAVE to add drama. Drama is the light in the story. It grabs the readers attention, and makes them want to know what's going to happen next. In my stories, there will have to be a break up, a bitchy by Apps Hat 1.5">exarrow-10x10.png, jealousy, or parental situations and not having acceptance from your parents. And the number one rule of drama, is that someone has to die. Now, personally, I don't follow that rule, I usually get too attached to my characters, like they're a part of me. Weird right? But if you want someone to die in your story, go for it. It will leave your readers wanting more and they'll have on a “What-the-fuck-just-happened” face. Drama is very important in a story, you don't want your story to be boring. Especially in gay stories, there's a lot of drama that can be added.

Characters and their personality in Gay Erotica Stories

Now, the way your character looks and their personality is very important to your readers. My male characters usually look like women, beautiful and model-like. But remember, not everyone's perfect. “ by Apps Hat 1.5">Chubbyarrow-10x10.png” guys in a gay story is very rare. Come on! by Apps Hat 1.5">Chubbyarrow-10x10.png guys are cute, and hug-gable. As for personality, usually the “tops” will have a arrogant, over-protective, bold, and straightforward personality. And the “bottoms” will have a quiet, shy, cute, and geek-ish personality. But it's not always like that. Some writers even make their character who is older than the younger character, the top. And the character who is younger than the older, is the bottom. For me, I like to twist things around a little bit. Maybe the younger character may be the top and the older character may be the bottom. Who knows? Make sure when you're describing your characters in a story, describe them well so the readers can have a really great picture in their mind of how they look. That's what's important.

This guide is basically for beginners who're writing Gay Erotica. I hope I helped you in some way. I'm still learning secrets myself. If you have absolutely no idea how gay men have sex, watch gay porn. And I’m not afraid to say it, it's what I do to learn more. Also, have a really great plot. Well, thank you for reading! And sorry if I made you bored in some way. Any questions? Let me know. But overall, the more you write, the better you become!
