Ezekiel has been running from his past his entire life. Is the one person he shouldn't pursue the one person that can redeem him?

**Jewish Word Definitions**
Bedeken (Be-dek-un) - during the signing of the ketubah, marriage contract, the groom with pull a veil over the bride to signify his love for her is her inner beauty. It also comes from the story in the Tanakh where Jacob was tricked into marrying the wrong sister because she was veiled. If the husband does the veiling himself, he cannot be tricked.
Breaking the glass- The groom breaks a glass with his right foot. Traditionally done to remember that although a wedding is a time of joy, Jews still mourn the destruction of the temple. It can also be seen as a reminder to keep the party from becoming too rowdy or as a reminder that marriage has joyful and sorrowful moments and it represents the bride and groom staying by each other.
Challah (Khah-luh with a gutteral 'H' sound, similar to what 'Kh' might sound like) - braided bread eaten on ceremonial occasions
Chuppah( (Kh-up-uh) - wedding canopy with four sides to symbolize the home the couple are building together. Can be covered with a tallit.
Dreidel (Dray-dl) - four sided top, used to play a game for children
Hanukkah (Hahn-uh-kuh) - Jewish holiday celebrated in early December.
Horah (Hore-uh) - a Jewish folk dance done in a circle. The bridge and groom may be lifted on chairs to single them out for attention on their day. For other celebrations, people are not lifted onto chairs. Often it is danced to ‘Hava Nagila’
Kugel (Koo-gul) - a sweet, egg noodle dish
Latkes (Lot-kuhs) - potatoe pancakes
Mazel Tov (Mozz-l Tuhv) - means ‘congratulations’ in Hebrew.
Menorah (Mehn-or-uh) - nine-branched candelabrum lit during the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah
Mishpocheh (Mish-paw-kheh)- non blood family.
Shabbot (Shuh-but)- Jewish day of rest, usually beginng Friday night before sunset until the appearance of three stars Saturday night.
Sheva B’rachot (Shev-uh Brack-ut) - “Seven Blessings” readings that come from ancient teachings and are read at traditional Jewish weddings. Many people have close family or friends read them. They focus on joy, celebration, and love.
Shiva (Shiv-uh) -a week long mourning period in Judaism for immediate family members. Usually a candle is to stay lit the whole week, prayers are said, easy kosher meals are eaten, low stools or chairs are sat on, mirrors and pictures are covered, and everyone is expected to wash hands before coming into the home. The earliest references to shive are found in Genesis 7:10 and Genesis 50:10.
Tallit (Tahl-id)-a fringed prayer shawl. May be incorporated into a Jewish wedding in a few ways: the bride gives one to the groom, it covers the chuppah, or the parents cover the bride and groom as a symbol of unity.
Tanakh (Ta-na-h with a gutteral 'H' sound, similar to what 'Kh' might sound like) -Jewish/Hebrew Bible, Christian Old Testament, includes the Torah (first five books of the Bible which is also known as the Pentatuech), the Nevi’im (the books of the prophets), and the Ketuvim (writings that include Psalms and Proverbs)
Tzimmes (Simmas) - vegetable stew made with sweet potatoes, carrots, dried fruit, and orange juice
Yarmulke (Yahm-uh-kuh) - Jewish headware for prayers and ceremonies.
Yichud (Y-eye-tchood) - a ritual time where the newly wed couples spend time alone together in a secluded room, sometimes the marriage would be consummated, other times they’d enjoy a meal, or quiet time alone.

**Spanish Word Definitions**
Ay, Dios Mío- ‘Oh my God’
¡Metete un tos cosas!- ‘mind your own business’
Párale- ‘cut it out’, ‘stop’
Por amor a Dios - literally ‘for the love of God’, basically ‘for fuck sake’
Sato/Sata- insult meaning ‘whore’

I'm going back and reviewing, editing, and adding to 'Got A Hold On Me'. Edits, suggestions, comments are all welcome and appreciated.

The playlist is in my 'news' area where you can copy and paste the link if you're interested. I have both a Spotify and an Apple Music link, they're basically the same (Apple Music has a couple songs Spotify doesn't, I think). Each chapter is named after a song that I feel fits the mood or theme of the chapter and then some other songs are added that fit the overall feel of the story and songs that are mentioned are added.
