Winter Wonder Hell..

Open up and give in, the harsh winds ripping against my skin.

The cold creeping in to the very essence of my soul.

Barely keeping my body upright, not done trying! I growl!

My skin feels like it could peel of, fingertips I`m sure I could feel them a while ago..

Walking over the once proud landscape of our land, our home, our hearts they used to grow.

You act like the cold suits me,

like I was made to thrive in harsh winds and blinding storms.

like I love the ice piercing my skin. like loving you was a sin.

My body hurts, aces for the warm blissed breeze.

The smell of flowers opening up in the overflow of sun rays, shining down between the trees.

They say that when you freeze to death, your brain fools you..

Thinking it is warm and toasty in front of a fire or bathing in the beloved sun,

and in the end you die with a smile on your face.

Even tho they say you don`t realize it at the moment, I think I do..

More often that not I think of the sun and flowers, toasty and warm in front of the fire..

I cry for a while the faint feel of my tears freezing against my chin,

as my breath is so ragged and harsh I detect my one and only desire.....

Is to smile.
