My cheap louder than loud raucus alarm clock almost jumped up and down and off the top of the set of drawers.

It was 3PM in the afternoon and I had obviously been working night shift for too long in the one stretch now.

My computer was still on facesaver and I hit just any key to activate my screen back into action.

I had been scrolling through all the wonderful stories on Silk when I had fallen asleep.

I had, had an unnerving dream that the adult writer's site Silk, had been banished to a fate worse than death.Believe it or not, I was busting for a pee and threw the doona off and proceeded to my watercloset. This is a really old name for a toilet.

When I got back to my computer in a cold sweat I found that all was well in the imaginary town of Silk.Nothing had changed.I had a vague recollection of sordid public sex scenes in my dream.I checked for teletale stains on my sheets.None!.

I think that because I had been playing some of my favorite songs from the1960's beforehand,I had put some disturbing thoughts into my mind.

Songs from this era were in part about imminent bigtime social change. These songs included Quote. Blowin'In The Wind by Peter ,Paul and Mary and The Eve Of Destruction by Barry McGuire.Unquote.

I quickly got dressed and turned off the light after I had opened the thick curtains that kept the natural light out.

Ahh, the 60's Many happy memories from then when things were simpler than they are today. And the songs were a lot better than the crap you hear today and the singers could actually sing.

I like all types of music. But 60's music has a certain something that other decades don't have.

Each decade has its charm and reverence. You may find standouts in every era but we gotta let the good times roll while we can. The music that we cling to will always be the the tunes from our youth. These were the ones that define our tastes for years to come and the ones we always go back to and remember when we were young and on the verge of change.

The trick is to avoid the "one's that preach".
Dreams come from thoughts put into our heads.
How awful of me to dream about Silk folks fucking in the streets in an end game of extreme decadence.Move over the last days of the Roman Empire.

Thanks for replying Amy
