Summary

This story revolves around Jack Wilson, the new guy in Bainesport, South Carolina, as him and his new friends search to fulfill their desires for love and lust. I previously posted this story on AFF, and I thought I'd post it here as I want to expand to other genres. Also, while this is an 'X-rated' story, the first few chapters are not. Finally, I haven't added chapters to this in a few months, but I intend to very soon. Enjoy! I just noticed that there's a limit to how long a chapter can be so some of the chapters are split up into multiple chapters, hence why some will have the same title.

It was Jack Wilson’s first day in Bainesport, South Carolina in near a month now. As he drove down the snaking cement he noticed the looming tees overhead. They seemed to be apathetic to him as another summer dwindled away leaving no memories of love or romance. But as the trees vanished and the sun was allowed through, a new path was illuminated. The trees now appeared bright and inviting. Down the road was the welcoming city that he would begin his new life in. Where his lifelong career would take start. Where he would finally find the boy of his dreams—

The paper was quickly scrapped with the commentary ‘this sucks’. As Jack threw the crumpled mess into the trash he decided to continue unpacking. His new apartment was small but he didn’t have much to fill it with anyway. In fact he had only begun the first box when he found his notebooks. But all the pretty words flowing from his head quickly turned bland, thus ending one of his numerous attempts to narrate his life.

But the writing was just a way to distract himself from the overwhelming changes in his life. This was the first time in his eighteen years that he hadn’t lived at 1500 Manchester Avenue. It was going to be the first time he worked at a Sam’s Club other than the one on 9thStreet. It was the first time in his life that he was truly independent and it scared him. Although he wasn’t entirely scared, in fact he couldn’t be happier that he had finally made the big move that his fellow alumni had made only shortly after graduation.

But what really excited Jack was the reason he made the move in the first place, he had finally been accepted into the police academy. Actually it was only the second time he tried out but it felt like it had taken years. Along with eleven other recruits he would later be joining the Bainesport Police Department which was ranked among the top fifteen police departments in the nation. Unfortunately for him it would be another two months until the academy started, which in itself would take another thirteen weeks.

As Jack continued to unpack his mind again wandered, this time to his new hometown. He knew where the Sam’s Club, the police academy, and the gas station at the entrance of town were, but that was about it. Realizing he didn’t know the area that well, Jack found his box of clothes and decided to set out on the town. He traded out his cargo shorts for dark blue jeans and his gray tank top for his green muscle tee. Jack paused for a moment as he considered finishing up the apartment first, but figured he might have to wait until tomorrow to explore and he would much rather see the city now. He grabbed his keys, phone, and wallet and headed out the door locking it behind him.

As he left his apartment and made his way to his red ’95 Toyota Camry, Jack saw one of his fellow tenants making his way from an amazing blue Mitsubishi Lancer conveniently parked in the spot directly across from his own. He couldn’t tell what year it was but it looked fairly new and almost as good as it’s owner. The boy looked barely older than Jack and had a similar sense of fashion. His cargo pants fit loosely on his legs but his red polo fit him perfectly showing off every curve and accenting his well-developed arms. His hat matched the color of his shirt with the word ‘Vito’s’ printed across the front, and when pulled off let his shaggy, black, bottom-of-ear-length hair blow in the cooling afternoon breeze. When the two guys walked past each other the neighbor flashed a closed-mouth smile at Jack which was returned with the same action.

As Jack neared his car he heard footsteps coming from behind him. Not wanting to act paranoid he waited until he reached his car to see who it was. He looked up while unlocking his car and saw his neighbor again going back to his own car.

“Don’t you hate it when you’re almost home and you realize you forgot something?” the neighbor rolled his eyes as he spoke.

“It’s the worst,” Jack chuckled with his response, his voice being slightly less deep than the other boy’s. His neighbor reached into his car pulled out his brown leather jacket. Jack opened up the back door of his car and pretended to move things around; he didn’t want to leave his neighbor just yet.

“My name’s Briton by the way,” his voice broke the brief silence. He walked to the front of his car and extended his arm out towards Jack.

“I’m Jack, nice to meet you,” a smile came across Jack’s face as his hand was grasped by the strong hand.

Briton let out a small laugh and smiled as he shook his head towards the ground. As he brought his head back up he spoke again, “I usually don’t introduce myself like that I just… I don’t know.” He laughed again this time joined by his new acquaintance.

“I’m glad you did, at least I know someone around here,” he smiled as he stood across from Briton who he noticed was close to half-a-foot taller than him. He also noticed his impressive physique again, this time admiring it from close up.

“I figured you were new. I saw you when you first got here and you looked so lost,” Briton laughed as he spoke. Jack’s expression was similar but he was blushing as well. Briton laughed nervously, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean anything bad by it.”

“No, it’s cool,” Jack laughed. They stood in silence for a few moments.

“So… um…,” Briton cleared his throat, “I guess I’ll see you around some time?”

“Yeah, definitely,” Jack nodded slightly with a smile.

The two shook hands again, “See you around,” Briton restated with a smile. He turned away and went back to the apartment building.

Jack got into his car and giggled as he replayed the conversation in his head while starting his car. His automatic lights came on and his dashboard displayed ‘7:18’. He pulled out of the parking space and left the lot following the path he took to get there in reverse. The gas station on the outskirts of town entered his view and he pulled in.

He looked around and was almost disappointed at the lack of young, fit guys around rushing to meet him. He thought it wasn’t all that farfetched to expect that seeing as he hadn’t even been out of his apartment five minutes before he met Briton. His composure was quickly regained before he made his way inside the gas station. The cashier was a slightly overweight, mid-twenties woman who glanced up to see who it was. She greeted him with a halfhearted ‘hi’.

Jack began perusing through the aisles in search of, well anything he needed. He passed through the snack aisle and grabbed a bag labeled ‘Naturally Flavored Fruit Gummies’. After several more minutes of searching he made his way to the counter with his snack, a bottle of water, and a map of Bainesport. With a swipe of his debit card he thanked the cashier and proceeded towards the door.

“Have a nice night, sir,” the cashier called.

Jack turned his head as he kept walking, “Thanks, you too.” As he exited the soft breeze rushed past him as the gas station acted as a vacuum. He got into his car and turned it on, again being presented with the time, which was now 7:26. He turned on the inner car light and skimmed over the map. The stores around Sam’s Club flashed in his memory as he saw them on the map. As his eyes moved farther away from the familiar area he noticed Kohl’s department store. He quickly tracked the route to his destination and set off.

Being from a more urbanized area Jack had never fully had the chance to experience the outdoors. As the sun began to set the tide began to rise bringing the salty sea air to the city, several miles away from the coast. Even as he pulled into the parking lot with neon lights all around him, he could still feel the sense of nature. He rolled up his windows after parking and walked into Kohl’s as many people were walking out.

As he strolled around the store he noticed many similarities between this Kohl’s and the one back home, with only a few differences in selection. But it didn’t take long before Jack reminded himself he shouldn’t be buying much, at least not until his new career began. He had a t-shirt and two pairs of underwear in his hands and after thinking it over for a moment decided it would be okay this one time. Making his way to the checkout line he soon realized he made the right choice.

The blonde cashier looked at him and directed him over to his register with a wave of his hand. The guy’s hair was very similar to Jack’s, the front messily pulled forward yet in a structured way and the rest was very tidy and in place. His facial hair was just the same, short and uniform. The next thing he noticed was the nametag that said ‘Nathan—Two Years of Service’. It lay on top of his attractive physique which once again rivaled Jack’s. Only his arms and chest were slightly buffed-up, but they still looked quite average and helped compliment his toned waist. Jack couldn’t see any lower because of the counter but he was sure it looked just as impressive.

His attention was brought to the cashier’s face which was one of the only differences they had. His features were very soft, not rugged looking like most men’s. His blue eyes were much more appealing to Jack who himself had brown eyes. He lastly noticed the cashier’s lips which were as defined as his body, but as soft as his face.

“How are you doing tonight?” Nathan inquired.

“Not bad, how about you?” Jack answered with his typical response.

“I’m doing fine. Thanks,” his soothing voice only slightly covered up the script-like words. But he quickly deviated from his typical sounding speech. “This underwear is really soft,” Nathan shortly rubbed the material between his fingers.

Jack looked up, “I know, that’s what I thought.” He quietly laughed as he swiped his card for the second time tonight. “I’m new in Bainesport,” he didn’t know what possessed him to say that, but he just chocked it up to him being flirtatious.

“Oh, yeah? What do you think of it so far?”

“It’s nice, but I don’t really know my way around.”

“That’ll pass,” the blonde shrugged his shoulders. He finished bagging the items and watched in silence as Jack finished answering the questions on the card swiper. The receipt automatically printed off and Nathan circled the savings portion with his pen, “There’s your receipt. You saved $7.50 tonight.”

Jack reached out and took the receipt and bag, “Thank you.”

“Yep, have a nice night.”

“You too,” Jack made his way back to his car and opened up his map upon entering. He saw the Bainesport Mall was only a few blocks away and drove off into the night.

Upon arrival to the mall he noticed the time was now 8:13. He made his way through the front entranced and noticed a decent crowd inside considering how late it was on a Thursday. There were several stores that didn’t pique his interest, but every so often he would make his way into one and look around. Yet for every store he went into he came out with nothing new.

While looking around Jack noticed there were no clocks inside the mall. He pulled out his phone and it displayed ‘8:57’. Seeing the Barnes and Noble he decided to make one last stop before calling it a night. He walked up and down the aisles, looking for anything to pop out at him. Nothing did. He remembered the main entrance was right next to the store and opted to leave the outer entrance instead of trekking through the mall again.

“Hey, it’s you again,” a familiar voice came from the magazine racks.

Jack turned around and saw Nathan looking back at him, “Oh, hi. What are you doing here?”

“I just needed to snack on something before I went home and this was on the way.”

Jack noticed the blueberry scone in the blonde’s hand. He also noticed Nathan had a much cheerier tone, probably because he wasn’t working, a feeling Jack definitely understood. “So you’re learning your way around?” Nathan tried to keep the conversation going.

“Yeah, it’s all starting to make sense,” Jack said in an exaggerated tone with a smile. The blonde laughed, not once taking his eyes off the other boy until he broke the silence.

“Maybe sometime I could show you around?” He shrugged his shoulders and gave a confident smirk, but on the inside his heart was racing and he could feel himself getting ready to sweat.

“That’d be great,” the brunette was just as nervous when he spoke, but his tensions eased when he heard Nathan sigh under his breath.

Nathan laughed with relief and led Jack towards the cash register of the coffee shop. He asked the cashier for a pen and pulled out an old business card from his wallet. He began writing his number on the card and when Jack saw he followed suit, his number being written on the Kohl’s receipt from his pocket. They exchanged numbers and Jack left with Nathan saying he’d call soon.

The blonde sat down on a bar stool to finish his scone as the brunette left with a painfully obvious grin on his face. He made his way to his car and drove back home with Nathan’s image burned into his mind. But when he arrived home his mind quickly went to the unpacked boxes sitting all around him. He looked at the time, deciding it was too late to continue unpacking and it would have to wait until the morning.

After brushing his teeth, taking out his contacts, and putting on his sleep shorts Jack curled up under his comforter and closed his eyes again thinking of Nathan. His shorts became uncomfortably tight as his thoughts wandered and he had to readjust himself a few times before eventually falling asleep unsatisfied.
