Summary

A vomit draft of a story I've had in my head for a very long time. It is a fantasy / drama / action thriller / scifi / romance / horror epic. A story about the power of imagination and emotion about my author avatar confronted by his neglected creations - a self referencing work if you will. Contains violence / gore, language, mature themes (Drugs, mature situations in general) and sex. It is an R at this point and far from exclusively pornographic, but I rated it X just to be safe.

There was uncertainty (if it could be called that) if the White had been aware of itself first, or had been aware of the Black first. Little did it matter, as few things did (or even could) matter in the soupy grey; the Murk. Whether the Murk was existence or nonexistence did not matter either (not yet), but perhaps it could be said to be nonexistence. Nonexistence infinitely stretching, waiting to be filled with a finite amount of existence when the two energies met. Danced and clashed, created and destroyed.
In any case, it could be approximated that the White and the Black had become aware simultaneously. In that very moment, they also became aware of thier duties. To fight, but mutually so, to cooperate in conflict. They fought, under a gentleman's agreement, and under the knowledge that from this fight, life would be given to the Murky Grey. Or a portion of it at least (if a portion of an infinite were possible). What was born of this agreement, this fight, was endless to mortal minds, but to the White, the Black and the Grey, it had to have an end. And a beginning. Both physical and temporal.
The White could be called good or light or creation, the Black could be called evil or darkness or destruction and the Grey to be compromise or entropy, but such analogies were crude. Crude indeed because such comparisons were limited by the mortal mind, which itself was crude and limited. It could die. But the White and the Black, and (to an extent) the Grey could not die. They were elemental...perhaps boundless.
And so, the White and Black clashed within the Grey and the Omniverse was created. It first manifested itself in intense violence and chaos. Expansion. Disorder. Heat. But soon it would cool and order itself into individual multiverses and universes.
And so our story begins.
