Do you know the sensations of a cooling brain? After working very hard your brain takes two minutes to cool off, before working again. I have felt this every single day of my life just like today. Today they had me running a maze. The maze in itself wasn't hard, the problem I was having was the fact that the walls moved every three minutes. Arms pumping, lungs burning, I ran into another dead end. I turned back, taking the right path that lead to a bright yellow door. I jumped through the opening, collapsing onto the white tile, grasping for breath. One of the Suits gave me water and a bag of chips, dragging me back to my cage. After throwing me inside, a White Coat came and took blood, saying I did better today. I crawled back to the pelt I shared with Wind, my sister. I drank deeply from the bottle and ate half of chips, wanting to save some for Wind. I have lived in this cage my whole life. The White Coats said I was going to be moved soon, because I was doing so well in the tests. They said that my sister could come with me, if she passed her tests too. As I sat in the cold metal cage, I listened to someone humming. Turning I saw that the sound was coming from a boy older then me with thick brown hair and dark green eyes. He sat in the cage next to mine, he hummed softly which put me to sleep. When I woke up Wind was back and eating the last of the chips. "Hey, did I wake you up? I'm sorry...the test ran long." I nodded at her words settling back down. Before I could say anything a White Coat came to the door of our cage. In the most excited voice I had ever heard she said, "Hey my baby, are you ready to move into your new room? Oh and don't worry about your big sister, she'll be coming with you after a few more tests OK? Now come on I'll lead you to your new room." She opened the door and stood back, waiting for me. I looked at my sister, she wouldn't meet my eyes. I crawled out the door and stood up, the White Coat locked the door back and took my hand. I followed her as she lead me through the building. After what seemed like forever, she stopped in front of a blue door. She hit a button and the door opened. She pulled me inside and the door closed behind us. Inside the room was many Suits and other kids who looked to be the same age has me. The woman lead me to a group near a wall, and told me to sit next to a boy with braided black hair. "Here you are Sky, this is the room you'll be going to be learning in from now on. You turned 6 years old this year so we decided that you are old enough to be with the other kids now. This is Rayne, he will be your partner for class OK?" She walked away after that going to talk to one of Suits. I turned back to the boy named Rayne, he was thin but tall with bright blue eyes. He turned to me and stared. Then he spoke, "You have wings, why? When did you come here anyway?" His voice was smooth and deep, that caused my heart to catch in my chest. I blinked and said softly, "I always had wings. I've been here since I was a baby. I have a older sister too." My voice was soft and light, so I sounded like I was whispering. Rayne blinked, he looked surprised. The girl who sat across from me, asked Rayne a question. I didn't hear it, because my attention was drawn to the Wolfman that had walked in. The White Coat who walked me here came back over with the Wolfman following. "Hey baby I wanted you to meet Raé. He will be your new trainer. He will be the one making up new tests for you OK?" The Wolfman crouched down next to me, he looked over me as if I was a rare animal. "Sky it is very nice to meet you. I will do my best as your trainer, so let's try to get along OK."
