She was an explorer, a traveler. Coming from a wealthy family, Alexandria was able to follow her dreams of going to various locations to learn and experience many different things. Being only 23 years old she had been to 20 countries, where she lived in for months at a time, and learned many languages and cultures. Now she would go to the South Pole, to the continent of Antarctica. She would go with a small crew of five people. Four of the people are familiar with the land, and serve as her travel guides, and the fifth joining her trip is her older sister, Bianca.

Alexandria and her crew arrive to a cabin that they would be staying in during their visit. Surrounding their cabin was a frigid forest of tall trees. In the distance other homes could be seen. Upon arrival Alexandria spots a mysterious man. He wore a black jacket with a hood over his light blonde hair. His eyes, piercing blue connected with Alexandria's Warmer hazel eyes. She looked at Chris, one of the travel guides curiously and nodded over at the tall male. Chris shrugs. "He must have a cabin near by, he's probably wandering around." He seems not to care much as he lugs some of Alexandria's and Bianca's bags onto his shoulders.

As the group enters the cabin, Alexandria goes at a slower pace offering the male a polite smile. "You from around here?" She asks as she stands across from him. He hesitates to speak but when he does it is low and husky.

"Yes, I am." He says simply. His eyes scan Alexandria's body. She was wearing a heavy coat that went down to her knees, a scarf and a hat. She was so bundled unlike the male who wore a thin black jacket and jeans.

"I'm Alexandria, I'll be here for a while, do you know this area well?" She asks. He nods and for a moment he perks up looking towards the woods.

"Well, don't wander off too far, it's easy to get lost. everywhere looks the same." He says before turning to leave.

"Well you can join my group and show us around!" She calls out. He continues though without looking back. Walking straight into the woods. She stared in wonder, why wasn't he freezing like her? Why were his eyes so electric?

After settling into their separate rooms they meet in the living room by the fireplace. "So where to first?" Asks Bianca. "To the beach? Pool? oh how about a hike through a tropical forest? No.. we can't do that, because you decided to go to the freaking frozen desert on Earth." She complained. Alexandria scowls at her.

"Stop complaining, these trips are about adventure, we will go skiing, sight seeing, and on animal watch." She says trying to encourage her sister to change her view on this trip. "Matter of fact lets start now." "What? No, we just got in from the cold." Bianca says before looking around to others for support. "Aren't we starting tomorrow?"

"It's early! C'mon lets just go." The others looked tired from the journey, All four of them. Chris, Dan, Eva, and Fiona. Chris was dozing off on the couch, Dan was stretching looking cozy and warm, Eva was full after eating and Fiona just looked cold like she didn't want to go outside. Observing them all Alexandria sighs. She goes to slip on her boots, and pull on her heavy coat.

"Then I'll just go out, try to spot a polar bear or something." She says in dull tone as she wraps her scarf around her neck. They were all silent, and the only thing that could be heard was the cracking of the wood in the fire place. Entering the freezing air Alexandria takes a deep breath taking in the crisp air into her lungs. She pulls out her binoculars and finds a high mountain to observe the surroundings from. A while passes and she was ready to give up and head back down the mountain to the path to the cabin, when she spots white fur, rustling behind some trees and bushes. Before she could zoom in, a hand falls on her shoulder heavily.

She lets out a gasp and drops the binoculars. She turns to look at frigid blue eyes. "You scared me!" She says eyes wide. "Alexandria. You shouldn't be here alone.." She smiles shaking her head. "I'm not far from the cabin, and what's your name, you never said it." He looks around sighing. He seemed alert, expecting something... something that seemed to worry him. "I'm Grono." He answers. She looks at him curiously. "Grono? Such an interesting name, where is it from?" She asks. He shrugs simply and holds his hand out to her. "You should get back, come." He says, offering to help her own the hill.

Just as she held his hand a looming beast appeared from among the forest. She opens her eyes wide looking at the white fur covered beast. Standing at about nine feet tall, with a mouth full of sharp teeth like that of a lion. It charges towards them and Alexandria yelps out in fear looking to Grono. Then suddenly he pulls her around behind him and stands between her and the beast. Where in an instant she hears the ripping of fabric and a low growl. Grono was becoming one of the beasts right before her. Soon he reached he height of the other beast and their bodies collided.

Alexandria stood in shock staring at the beasts fighting, clawing, and biting at each other. She was in shock, flinching away from them both hiding behind a large rock. Soon one of the large beasts ran away into the forest. She peeks out to look at an injured beast slowly transforming back to a human body. It was Grono. He was now naked, and bleeding. She runs to him, she had many questions, but now it was her turn to save him.
