A short poem about lifes twists obligations and it's hardships.

I am what I always have been, yet I am also that which I have never seen.

I am the branch that bends in the winds, yet I am also the marble pillar that yields to none and to none rescinds.

I am the fates untamed, I am the destiny reclaimed.

I am the wild heart, and I am also the quiet art.

Few understand, but all know the truths at hand.

I am that which you fear, yet I am what you look forward to each year.

I am the Change, and I am consistently strange.

I will take you many places, show you many faces.

You may love me, you may hate me.

It matters not what you feel in the end, I gave you breath and from you I can still rend.

What am I? Funny you should ask, I am in you, and I am not so this is your task.

Discover your purpose in the strife, for I am and always have been, your life.

Sort of a poetic riddle with an emphasis on dichotomy. Life is this way and that, completely unpredictable. You've captured the essence...
