Laney Cassidy is fed up with her government. It's not the democracy she was raised with, she wants it back. A company known as Global Expansions bought out the USA and now running it. People are going to prison for the littlest things, even getting killed. She is part of a resistance group wants to bring it down. When she comes up with a plan to be on the inside as a worker, she knows she is taking a HUGE risk. When on the inside, while working undercover, she meets Eric Rosendale, the technology manager. She doesn't want to get friendly with him, but finds herself getting a little too close to him.
Eric really likes Laney, but knows something is a little off about her. She is always digging for information. Eric is not the only one is after her, the resistance leader, Cameron Bryson, also wants Laney. Laney finds herself wanting both Eric and Cameron.
At the end, Laney must make a decision: Will she let her group down and join Eric and the enemy, or will she let Eric down and stick to her plan. Will Eric join the resistance? Who will be willing to risk their live for Laney and USA?
