In a world where I am color blind
I see you, you're blue
I am a cloud lost in your sky
I get lost looking into your eyes
You are deep inside of me
Deeper than the Oceans floor
You make me cum over and over
Craving you more
I want to be your kaleidoscope
Making you see more than blue
I want our sex to be electrifying
Sparks all over you
You're every single shade of blue
You don't know how much I desire you
If blue is all i'll ever see
Your blue is perfect just for me

Love the personification. Super sweet poem for someone very lucky. I hope you shared it.
As poetry goes, you (as I) appreciate rhyme. I hope rhyme never completely disappears, but more modern poetry leans towards 'free verse'. I write very little of that, but when I do write it, I have to read it first.
Who are your favorite poets?
Then I see where you get your rhyme and meter.
I love "Anabel Lee" - I think it was Poe's last significant poetic piece. He died at around 40 yrs old.
Frost has some amazing pieces, most of which are rarely headlined. Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is still amazing to me...simple, yet so brilliant. So, there's your metaphor.
Rachel Wiley - wow, you blind sided me there. I had to go look her up. Slam Poetry, no less. I'll read some of her stuff. Definitely a contemporary.
I'm a big fan of suicidal female poets (LOL) Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton. Although I do like Emily Dickinson as one of the classics
Quite a remarkable devotion, I wish that someone had that much feeling for me!!! At one point maybe, but my imperfections, my tongue, and my lack of vision, sadly have destroyed most all of what might have been...
Still... This was truly beautiful!
