Chapter1 (v.1) - Marry me

Author Chapter Note

Sade obviously found that out and decided to bring out the vixen in her. He remembered when she walked into the bar that night putting on a pair of short pants and a bra top. His eyes nearly fell out of its sockets. He had taken her virginity in the rest room stall that night which had earned him a punch from the always calm Joseph. Turns out only Sade could bring out the beast in his best friend. He chuckled to himself as he stopped a taxi, looking through the improved town as the cab breezed past.

“Marry me!” Sade blurted out of her already blabbering mouth as a stunned Joseph spat back inside his half-filled cup in shock. Some of the already swallowed drink went down the wrong path and he began to cough. After a few minutes, the coughing died down before he turned his stool in Sade’s direction to look at her chuckling face.

She looked really radiant with that huge grin on her face. Her short hair cradling her oval shaped face, stunning bold eyes and plump lips that he’d fantasized kissing ever since he met her. Her chest shook in her fit of laughter. He refused to go that further and tried to pick up where they left off the conversation.

“What the fuck, Sade! Are you trying to send me to an early grave?” he sent her a half playful glare.

“Shut the fuck up! What’s the big deal? You act like some big baby sometimes.” In all honesty, she had no idea what she was doing or saying. And someone at the back of her mind told her that every single word that came out of her mouth that night would be regretted when she was sober. But still she decided to push it. “Your parents want you married and you can’t seem to find a girl you’re interested in, my mum wants me to get married and I’m waiting for Fred who’s spending time in jail because of me. It’s simple. We keep our parents off our backs by getting married until you can find a girl and Fred gets out of jail,” she shrugged her shoulders making her idea look simple. Joe was still staring at her in shock so she turned to her half-filled glass of beer looking at him from the corner of her eyes.

Joe was a good looking and proper guy that would turn any woman’s head. Always well dressed. At the moment, he was wearing a sky blue shirt on a pair of black pant trousers. The shirt hugged his body making him look hot. Every lady loves a well behaved guy you’d want to have a house and three kids with. Funny, she wasn’t that type of girl. She liked the wild side and that was Fred for her. She watched Joe undo the first two buttons of his shirt like they were causing him discomfort.

“since you have this all pieced up, you forgot one little detail that might bring the whole block tumbling down,” he rested his arm on the table their drinks were on trying to look at her reaction when he tells her what the problem with her brilliant idea was.

“You’re the genius, Joe. It’s your department to look for loopholes in everything,” Sade turns to look at him.

“You know I have so many names swirling in my head that I want to call you right now. It just won’t sound proper,” he wagged his fingers in front of her face looking serious.

“Let me guess, bitch is one of them… loose cannon… err… crazy… whore…”

“Just shut the fuck up, Sade! Why the hell do you have to have such a foul mouth?” he shook his head from side to side.

“Seems you’re one of the sons of bitches that likes it,”

“Jesus fucking Christ!”

“And you call my mouth foul. Hypocrisy… Joe…hypocrisy,” she took another sip of her drink chuckling quietly.

“You know I’m amazed you have that huge word in your vocabulary,” Joe smarted out back to her. Of course, he was joking. Sade had a brilliant mind but preferred to act the way she does ever since she met Fred.

“Fuck off, Joe! So what do you think of my idea, seriously?” she continued.

“Are you kidding me right now, Sade? Fred is my best friend!” he shouted.

“So?” only that one word and Joe almost wanted to wrap his hands around that beautiful neck and wring sense back into her head. “It’s not like we’ll be doing any fucking. Besides if we explain the problems we have to Fred, I’m sure he’ll understand,”

“What makes you so sure?” he had to ask.

“he wouldn’t want me to give in to pressure and the only way to make sure I’ll be waiting for him when he gets out is if his best friend helped put me off the market,” Sade went on to explain.

Joe leaned back in his seat, looking round the bar and tried to collect his thoughts. It was a Tuesday night; there were just a few customers. Some sitting by the bar and some in collective cushion seats.  He had met Sade there after she called him. It was her favorite place. She used to go there often the only difference about that day was she was drinking. The way she called him up, he could tell something was wrong. She had started to explain about how her mother had embarrassed her at a function only because she wasn’t married yet. Then he made a joke out of his own family threatening to disown him if he didn’t get married soon and voila, she came up with that sick idea.

He’d always admired her mind; it was beautiful until she let Fred influence her. She became the kind of girl she thought Fred wanted. If she only knew, Fred liked her the way she was but it became very perfect for Fred when she turned out that way. Loud, crazy, daring and still stunning. She used to be reserved, very calm and shy. She used to be like him. Joe and Fred were opposites but they had remained best of friends since their childhood. Fred would get in fights just for fun, he had never ever gotten in a fight until he met Sade and Fred had ended up taking the fall for it.

“So what do you say?” Sade snapped him back to her.

“Let’s see what Fred thinks before we make any decisions. Okay?” he advised and gulped down the rest of the drink.

Sade nodded and rested her head on his chest, sighing in abandon. “I’m just fed up of the crap she’s giving me you know?”

“I know…” he rubbed her head lulling her to sleep on his chest. His heart thundering at the prospect of marrying her. She might be his best friend’s girl but that hasn’t stopped him from loving her since forever.

Fred breathed in the fresh air as he stepped out of the prison gates. He had been in there for eight years now and he never regretted one second of it. He went to jail for those he loved and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Dressed in the clothes he had come in with, a grey t-shirt and faded blue jeans, he knew he looked like a homeless jerk. That was the half-truth. He wasn’t homeless but a jerk that he was. His friend had called him that numerous times over the years and it was time to take back what he had given to him to keep for him. When he heard of the plan, he immediately agreed to it, wanting his woman to wait for him and there was no one else he would rather have her with. He knew joseph was in love with her, as a matter of fact, Joseph met her first but he couldn’t help the fact that Sade had the hots for him and she was as stunning as hell. He liked her and hell when he saw the crazy side of her, he practically went bananas for the girl. He was a tout, everyone knows him to be, the direct opposite of Joseph. Where joseph liked the calm ones, he went for the crazy ones.

There were lots of flowers everywhere now. He had heard the governor had an obsession with greenery. First of its kind. It was beautiful. The kind of place the real Sade would want to go to. He loved her naivety but her wild side drove him nuts. Just thinking about the fact that he might get to fuck her that night already gave him a hard bulge. She had been married for four years now and he knew she would still be his.

She had to stop coming to see him as her husband joseph had become a hot shot politician. In fact he had to stop her from coming to see him, it wasn’t good for her husband’s image.

The cab stopped in front of a really huge house belonging to Joseph. Damn, the man had really done well for himself. It was a duplex with a very huge compound. He could see the whole of it from the gate. He rang the bell on the pillar and waited for a response. A uniformed man came to the gate looking him up and down.

“Hey, I’d like to see Joseph,” he told the man ignoring his weary look. He already knew he looked like shit he just didn’t like that a lowlife like the gateman would notice. He needed a shave badly and his hair needed a good barber. Plus his clothes probably smelt like shit.

“He’s not in,”

“You are my best friend. And I know you’re aching to tap that ass so why not help me give her a mind blowing experience. I mean the girl hasn’t been fucked in eight years!” Fred calmly said.

“Fred…”

“Don’t overthink it Joseph… just roll with me. Just this once is all you got. And I have my woman back. I’m gonna marry that woman in a heartbeat.”
