This poem is something that I wrote today.

Every person starts out as a newborn

So gentle and filled with simple happiness

Then we learn to crawl

We get into things that we can reach

Try to learn the ropes

As we do this, people see a physical

Growth as well

Once we are toddlers

Things get interesting

We can walk and talk now

We are still new to things

Still growing

Still learning

And still living

Innocence is still in our eyes

Years go by and everytime we fall

We get right back up again

Simply trying to learn and grow

From our mistakes and heartbreaks

To our loving memories

There is a smile somewhere in us

We all must grow
