A poem that states the truth

Everyone lives to pretend
Teenagers always think they're your friend
Though  they never see you struggle
You may live your life seeing double
Everyone lives on

A life is filled with stresses and fear
But there is no one there that holds you dear
Bunch of endless lies to take
And make into a birthday cake
Everyone lives on

Love and laughter fill the night
Madness and dread start a fight
That is why everyone lives on
