"Harder Oli, fuck me like it's the last time!" Abbey demanded through loud gasps as he pounded into her from behind. It's true. It is the last time and her words aren't lost on her, even in the midst of passion.

She gripped the headboard as it hammered against the wall and she started to lose it as he followed his orders perfectly. He's always done that, always been compliant without a fuss. Her wish is his command and it's going to be hard for her to lose that. He's the only one that's ever made her feel like more than she was, almost normal.

It was all magnificent to her. The feel of him inside her as he tortures that sweet spot, the sound of their skin slapping together in an erratic rhythm with the headboard. Every blissful moan coming from both of them invading her ears and amplifying the pleasure. She will always remember him like this, her Oli. In a way she created him and she'll always have that. She's left her mark there in his life. No one can touch that.

"Fuck baby I'm almost there..." He choked the words out as he approached the edge. Pretty soon he'll be free falling into euphoria and can't wait. Every thrust is deeper then the last as her walls tighten around him. The beautiful pussy that he's come to know so well, that his cock has locked with so many times. It's that perfect hold that he'll miss badly.

Within seconds they were both coming together and he pumped her full of his seed for the last time. They both said it was and they will both stick to it. They have no choice really given that he's leaving in just a few days.

London, college, the future, it all seems so pointless to him now. He's been excited about it for months, but he never expected to get so caught up in Abbey. She was an unexpected surprise and even after two years together, he still doesn't really know what they are to each other.

He certainly loved her in the beginning, but that was another dead end really. He was bound to get hurt as her situation is unusual to put it mildly. It never really mattered to him in the end though and it's been a great two years well spent in his opinion.

Life changed for him dramatically when she arrived. She was wild and as soon as he saw her at that party, he wanted her. She was stunning and he had never seen anyone like her. Jet black hair that fell in loose waves down her back, green eyes that matched the colour of his own and a body that damn near tore his pants open thanks to his instant erection.

It took five beers to give him the nerve to talk to her. Five beers and a whole lot of amping himself up. The spark was there between them instantly and it was like fire and gasoline. He was enamoured by her cute giggle and her confidence overwhelmed him, especially for a girl her age. She was seventeen like him, but the similarities ended there.

He lay back on the bed thinking about that night as he does a lot. The night he fucked her for the first time. It was perfect, even if she did do most of the work. She took charge and changed him as a man right there. He was never the same after that. The quiet boy had had his eyes opened.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked as she leaned against him. The contentment washed over her. It's always nice with him. Much better then with the others. She shuddered just thinking of it. She never really cared about what she did until he came along. Now she's always second guessing herself, but she's in too deep now and this is all she's ever known.

"Just our time together Abs. Remember the fight we had when we first met?" He chuckled as the scene played out in his mind. She glared at him but he shrugged it off. She hates the story and so she should, he should too. He can't do it though as that night gave him so much. He got her for a full two years.
Most importantly of all, he got her for free and that said more about her character then she ever would have been able to tell him.

He laughed again as her words back then whirled around his brain. She'd just fucked him, he was feeling like a fucking king and then she gave him the bill for her time.

The party had been at a pimps house unbeknown to Oli and his friends. It was packed with people so why would he question it? It seemed normal. He certainly never expected it to be the sort of cover for the business dealings that it was. Abbey's face was priceless and he can only imagine that his own was the same.

She looked ashamed and he felt for her, so he'd pulled out his wallet and she shook her head. She'd already won his heart that night, but that got his respect. Instead of investing his dollars into one night, they both invested their time in one another and got a very close friendship from it.

He snapped out of his tangent and glanced at his watch, a graduation present from his parents. "Fuck I've gotta go, I've got dinner with my family. I'm sorry baby..." He whinged as the sadness flooded his insides. This is the goodbye that they both knew was coming, but it still hurts like a bitch.

"I'll miss you Oli. I hope you get everything you want and please don't forget about me! Especially when you're around all those beautiful English girls..." She teased as she hugged him. She beamed inside as he held her tight almost squeezing her. It was a relief to feel that he was being dragged over the coals also. He's always been the more sensitive one of the two of them, but today she's feeling the strain.

"Hey we said no tears!" He smiled but his cracked armour was fooling no one. This girl knows him inside out. "Please don't make this hard Abs. We agreed to stop after today and we can't go back on it now. We'd just be prolonging the inevitable. I'm leaving and that's it. So smile for me one last time baby so I can remember that beautiful face when I think of this moment"

"You're gonna break hearts with that charm of yours Oliver Blake, but just you remember who showed you paradise first..." She winked feeling better for the little decorum returning to her. There's no fighting this, he's leaving and they never would have worked. He'll be in classes and she'll be on street corners, hardly the stuff that epic romances are made of, but it was special.

Their eyes locked for a few seconds. Those beautiful emeralds of his reeling her in, just as they always have. The corners of his mouth turned up into his sweet smile and she felt it rush on her, that damn feeling she's been desperate to ignore. It was there between them, those unspoken words filled the air with a thick silence that was slowly becoming unbearable to her. She saw his lips part and panicked. If anyone is going to admit it, it would be him, but confessions of that magnitude will just make this harder. It won't stop him from leaving or pull her out of this life. Plus she knew that in time he would get over it and she wouldn't.

"Take care baby, you're gonna be great" she smiled through the crushing disappointment as she ruined what could have been the best moment of her life. She refuses to hold him back though.

Oli said his goodbyes and eventually managed to tear himself away from her. He closed the door and walked to his car without looking back. She won't come after him and he knows that it's for the best. They were never meant to be together. Their worlds collided by chance, but their situations were always going to keep them apart.

The drive home felt long, even though it took no longer then fifteen minutes. He was slumped in his seat and the world outside his window changed from broken windows and graffitied buildings to green lawns and suburban paradise. It was like a final kick in the teeth for him. A way for the universe to remind him of the girl he's left in the gutter. He's by no means responsible for her and she would kick his ass for even trying to help her out, but it doesn't stop him feeling that surge of protective instinct inside.

He pulled the keys out of the ignition as he parked in his driveway. He stared at the keys in his hand and pursed his lips in deep thought.

Should I go back and get her?

It was a dangerous question and one that is seeming more appealing by the second. He jumped as a knock at his window startled him. He shook his head and plastered on a smile for their dinner guests. He really was late.

"Mr and Mrs Parker, nice to see you. Hi Claire..." He smiled towards the same people he's grown up around for as long as he can remember. The Parkers are often dinner guests and present at barbecues, thanksgivings, Christmas and any other occasion.

"Hello Oliver, not long now 'til the big move. We're so proud of you and to think in a few years it'll be our little Claire bear off to college..." Mrs Parker gave her daughter a big squeeze as they all made their way up to the house. Thankfully she's got two years left with her little girl before she flies the nest.

"Mom!" Claire rolled her eyes and did her best to shrug her off. She swapped amused glances with Oli and knew of all people, he understood. She has it on good authority that his own mother is a mess because she's losing her only child to the big bad city of London.

Claire envies him. She can't wait to spread her wings and see what this beautiful world has to offer. She hugged her sketch book close to her chest at the thought of the sights she plans to see.

Oli ruffled her curls playfully as they stepped inside the house. She threw him a glare making him chuckle. He eyed her sketch book and smiled. The girl is always drawing. Even when they were kids she was obsessed with crayons and painting. A pang of pride made his chest swell as he took her in. She's nearly seventeen now and like a baby sister to him, though admittedly they've drifted apart over the years thanks to Abbey.

All good feeling extinguished and his heart weighed down heavy inside him at the thought of her. She's been his everything for two years. There's nothing hidden between them. She was his best friend. It was more then sex but less then what qualifies as a conventional relationship.

"Are you okay?" Claire asked as she spotted the detached look in his impossibly green eyes. He looks sad, but she put that down to him leaving. It's bound to mess with anyone and as keen as she is to get started herself, she'll no doubt be a little reluctant when the time comes.

"Yeah I'll be through in a sec..." He grinned weakly before running upstairs to pull himself together.

"Get a grip Oli, get it together!" He snapped at himself in his bedroom mirror. He made the decision to take this life changing opportunity and live in London and he made the decision to leave Abbey behind. Its the best for everyone and he closed his eyes repeating those words in his mind.

He leaned against the wall and breathed deeply. He can see a lot of telling offs in the future, a lot of times where he'll be forced to have a word with himself, but as long as he keeps his head straight then he'll be fine. It's time to grow up and move forward.

He opened his eyes to see the few boxes he's packed ready to ship to his room in the UK. He's living on campus for his first year before going into shared housing for the remainder of his stay. He just hopes he meets the right people, but then he's got a bit of a habit of meeting some colourful characters too thanks to Abbey and her friends. That was an education that he can't wait to test out when he gets there.

He smiled then. At last a genuine smile and the excitement returned. He'll never forget Abbey, but he's about to start a new chapter of his life and it gives him a buzz straight away.

In a few days he'll be a college man in a new country. He can be anyone he wants to be, but no doubt he'll still be the same good old reliable Oli. Quiet, painfully shy Oli. Not even Abbey's wild antics could cure that, but British girls might like it and he licked his lips at the thought. She'd told him the same as they spoke of his looming departure over their last few weeks together.

He pushed the sadness away refusing to let the emotion pollute his memories of her. He will smile when he thinks of her, just as he is now.

He heard his mom calling him and he  glanced at the boxes one last time. The excitement was staying put and he was grateful for it. He needs it to keep the nerves away. He left his room with just one thought in mind.

Life is going to get better.

He believed it, prayed for it and he just hoped that London was ready for him because he was ready for it.
