Philosophy ~ Journal of Truths (My truths).
Our higher power is pure Spirit.
Christianity was born when Man named a single spirit "God." .
The Churches' scribe's gave God a gender. First in Hebrew and later in English - the first person pronoun is "He"...
The oppression of women started when "God" became a man, and "God's Laws" were written by men!
However, TRUE Spirit has no gender.
Islam was born out of Christianity. It uses the Old testament as its' foundation.
The Rule of Men continued, thus Female oppression continued.
Judeo Christian's started depicting Jesus as White, not dark skinned.
However, True Spirit has no color.
People value what is seen and revered. The Rulers of people knew this. The oppression of the poor people started.
In America, as the other great nations - the ruling people owned slaves. Slaves could be any color, but with Christianity - many of the owned slaves had colored skin. Thus the oppression of colored people started.True Spirit cannot be enslaved.
Perhaps, that's why other religions had more than 1 God and many of those Gods did not look human.
Equality starts with wisdom, the gifts of spirit. Wisdom comes from living life. Wisdom is the knowing. The knowing was an oral tradition...for 1000's of years.

Well done. The Old Testament which is the Jewish Torah and the Muslim book differ very little from each other. Both believe in only one God. Both discourage spiritualism and superstition. Both encourage what appears to be very devout and practical behaviors with additional legal consequences. Whether you were raised judeochristian or Muslim the similarities would seem to make friends not enemies but they do not. But I congratulate you on recognizing that mans influence and his understanding has tainted the meaning of spirit. That cannot have image, color, gender, or any form at all. And the form man was made in was to hold this imageless image within him. As an earthen vessel. Not to become gods but to become like the True God.
