Shots rang out at the school as kids ran in terror towards their cars to drive as far away as possible. Some kids didn't make it and were hit by the sniper and fell face first on the pavement of the parking lot, dying instantly. No one knew where the sniper was, not even the principal. The kids were screaming in terror and crying, some of them holding each other, not knowing if they were going to be next. The girls were screaming the loudest and crying the most, making their makeup run. They had a hard time running in high heels that they had worn to draw attention from the jocks in the school. The creepy kids knew that "one of their own" was going to be blamed for this massacre, but they didn't have time to protect their group: they had to protect themselves from the gunfire. One boy was shot in the back of the head while running while another was shot in the leg, and one girl was shot in the back and dropped like a stone. Teachers were running out of the school as well, from the nice ladies that genuinely hoped that their students were taking something good from their lessons and hoping they didn't do something to provoke the shooters, to the teachers that passed everyone and didn't care about the kids but for some reason decided to be a teacher anyway. Even the gym coach, who was normally as strict as a drill sergeant in the gym, was scared for his life and ran away from the school just as all the teenagers did. The students that could reach their cars peeled out of the parking lot towards their homes, trying not to look back, completely traumatized by the incident. Bodies lie all along the sidewalk in front of the school. The teachers couldn't even think to calm down the students because they were all afraid of their lives as well. The angle of the shots seemed to be coming from the woods behind the football field. The shooter had waited for school to let out before he started shooting. He had been there since 9 that morning, just anticipating the moment when he could unleash hell upon them.
