It’s cold. I’m kneeling on something wet, and it’s so dark, I can only see the shine of the dirty sewer water. Here I am, my wet jeans, at the bottom of a sewer, waiting anxiously for my next contestant. I start to hear the pitter-patter of feet, above me. They slowly come to a stop above the sewer, just as I’d planned they would. I lace my chilly, bony fingers around the knife, as I hear the thirsty thud, of the person dropping down into the sewer. This sewer was a place where a lot of homeless kids went, or teenage druggies come here to smoke. I hear the sloshing of feet coming closer, and closer around to my corner, and now, I am gripping that knife like it has my life. I rise up from my position, ready, full front. Slosh, Slosh, Slosh. Pause. Slosh sl--pause. These were the last few steps he would ever take, He better savor them. My mouth is dry, and I’m hungry for action, too hungry. So I do something stupid. Something out of plan. Usually I was supposed to wait for my victim to pass me, and get them in the back. But I’m so anxious, I spring out of my corner, my mouth now dripping with saliva, and I put the knife in the slot of my brown Gucci belt. It’s a boy. He’s got on a Beanie, sagging jeans, a bag of something. A druggie. My last four victims had been druggies and to be honest it’s old now. I need knew action. I sigh, and the dude looks up.

“It sucks you couldn’t have done better with your life.” I reach for the knife tucked in the loop of my belt, and the boy looks confused.

“You can’t be in here! Get out.” The boy pauses, wraps the big bag he has behind his back.

“Oh can’t I?” I come closer, and snatch the knife from behind me, and thrust it in him, near his lungs, and seconds later he gapes, waterfalls of blood splashing down his mouth, he clutches his stomach. Since I’m not very entertained, I stab him until I am.
