a thought, a word, a sentence not heard, through silenced mocking to your screaming and knocking loudly at my door.

im here, although not your attention I won't crave, through angered fist and jealous waves.

why would you curse my door with soiled feet,

you want what you had through pages now burned history will not repeat.

im still standing here as you peer through the glass, a tap here, a cupped hand there, a tear for show as I'm standing here.

oh the nights are long, through tossed sheet and films to entertain my sight.

to repair what you did, to replace you I consciously offer a bid to a real women not on film.

To hold me like you once did, to kiss me with brightened lips, to bravely dance bare with waltzing hips.

those are the memories I hold onto standing here,

standing here, not there with you anymore. Not on your arm, not on your word, not on anything so absurd.

im still standing here or haven't you heard, I hold my heart for another out there, one who listens and heeds my call, one who beckons me and cradles my fatal fall.
