TWILIGHT HOURS
BY
EDGAR DARK SEASON
Cold hands and fires
Comfort by choice
I have no need to touch
You hold tight between
Squeezed together in need
Love;An expression of selfish pleasures
Affections from childhood true
Your breasts, Your lips
My body
Our age, Our loss
Bare to barren upon a heart sore
Keep me company
The saddest thing in the world is having nowhere to go
No one to hold

lovely written and indeed is true - having nowhere to go or hold
No where to go or no one to hold, by that I mean hold on to what you can as love and life are ultimately despairing afflictions inflicted upon us by our nature, albethem if I may create a neologism derived from the over used albeit, hold on to that lover even if they give you more sadness than joy but needing intimacy is the saddest thing of all.
married life or relationships in general is a part of the ongoing "social conditioning"process we all get sucked into because we fear being alone more than being in a "pointless"relationship!!!!
this is the price we pay for being given life!!!!
