Merely Holding Together The Shine

-

I wept into my sorrows

And dragged out my brain from my head

Then I dreamed of a burglar

That ran from the mists of my paths

The turns of the worm

As it dragged it's long tail

To bother the wreckage

Would empty upon itself

For all to be

__healed

When the diamonds gathered

The painstakin' hemorrhages

Dampered along the gusty sharp edges

Then the bubble butted road bicyclists

Parted the thoughts in my other brain

And drove my poor dick insane

I ate up the leverage

__that another heart sank

The ship teeter-tottered

__and drinking began

Work smothered life away

Too hot to handle the dismaying rays

Of no sunshine
