How I Have Lost You

"Well, you always knew"

What was wrong with me

Well, look at me now

You don't even know me

Not anymore

You were just a whore

Fucked all the popular men on campus

Now your baby daddy's dead

And you wanted my help

Well, at the time

__I had no control over my finances

Because I was living at mom and dad's house

And for some reason

__which I don't remember what

They had all my money back then

But now I'm not a virgin anymore

Probably thanks to you, of course

Who else would have bought me

__another whore?

But now my days are nearing an end

And I just want to see you again

Memories of fiddling your twat in class

Dance inside my head at times

And I just want you to still be mine

Melissa, why can't you come back to me?

I'm sorry if I was an evil wrecking machine

I don't know what was wrong with me

Why I did what I had did

I've wanted you back for the longest time

Oh, why can't you just be mine?

I can fuck now

I'm no longer afraid

But I guess it's just bad timing

'Cause you just won't come back to me

No matter what I say or do

I can never get to have you

And that's not just a fear

That's also my doom

Look at how I have lost you

One of your more emotionally distraught pieces, DL.
Technically speaking, you might go back and look at verb tense because it seems to vary.

"Now your baby daddy's dead, and you wanted my help" - seems like it should be 'want' my help. After that you have a past tense recollection of finances presumably as an explanation why you couldn't help.

Maybe it should be, "When your baby daddy died, you wanted my help". That would fit.

No. 'Cause it is past tense. She wanted my help in 2002. Not now. But thanks for telling me i spelt "very" wrong.
