You get more out of the war; you get more out of life!

It simply gives you full retrieve of life's accomplishments and memories, many things to think of before you think of going down and die, with great difference, whether you will die happy, or sad.

It is The War Age, War Era, where people keep fighting for secure,  better life and for peace, just like old ages, and you know what; there is no way you can stop a war, it happens because it just happens, like thunders, volcanoes, float or just another incident. The only thing you can do is to survive, and get used to it. Bombing sounds, strikes, noises of helicopters roaming, and cry at night seeking God's help all become just another day's normal activities. Emptiness of banned areas and lonely roads become as empty as lost and scattered bullets in streets, and even death scenes become so regular ones to cope with.

Another year is about to come. Sounds of bombings are coming from New Year's celebration, where soldiers blow old tanks, old cars and ruined armored vehicles from distance, they announce new year, new hopes for peace, and guess what, they sound different from usual raids' bombs and strikes! I kept on hearing the bombing activities from my window; each explosion is followed by a cheerful yelling sound. The year of 2007 Iraqi War was supposed to be a promising one, truce finally has been made and many families went back to clean their houses. Social activities are almost like before, and schools opened their arms wide.

It is really amazing how two cultures get mixed through wars. American soldiers were so equivalent with Iraqi axon. Once soldier enters a supermarket, he makes sure to say 'Salamu A'laikum', and a smile goes on to all. Young people of Iraq are interested in west culture; and always showed great deal to live and settle there, though old ones consider those who follow western culture, sort of traders. Youth in streets started to wear soldiers so alike style and it became a fashion of the new generation. Sarcasm about following west culture swift to argues, sometimes ends up with fight!

Wedding festivals of native Iraqis of queued marching cars are the most pleasant motive for soldiers to get out of their armored vehicles and clap, sometimes wave and dance to cheer this happy event, and in turn, people wave back, and a joyful event break through as a rainbow after a long rainy, boring day, of every day's war!

The same time when there are people who talk about horrible aspect of Iraq war and blood baths of battles, the same when some look forward for the change that should have happened long time ago. The New World is the most interesting issue for young people. They got rid of the past, and want to catch the modernization and new technologies train. When it comes to opinions, I always remember my neighbor's one. She used to call soldiers the aliens who destroyed everything, and soon changed her tune to positive one, when a soldier doctor treated her sick eight months year old baby, during a patrol inspection mission, the time when her husband was not around, and other neighbors did not care.
