A very short poem for a sad lady.

I sense the sadness in your eyes

And wonder who has told you lies

I dream that I could steal a kiss

And chase away what’s gone amiss

To set your smoky eyes aflame

And make your body yearn again

Until that twinkle you disguise

Ignites a smile that lights your eyes.

Awww, so sweet that you would want to care for my reprieve that I might see the light again and surely find a smile again.????

A woman's smile is a thing to tenderly tend.

Hey girls, gather round
because of what I'm putting down
Oh, baby, I'm your handy man...
I'm not the kind that uses pencil or rule
I'm handy with love, I'm no fool
I fix broken hearts. I know that I truly can...

Fixing a broken heart would require a high level of craftsmanship. Maybe I should start with something more centered.
