Its a poem. Not entirely sure how to go about writing a summary for one.

Precpice

Empty eyes, cold as glass, stare right through me.

People, pushing, pushing, pushing against me, against one another.

I want to scream, but I know it wont do any good.

No one will hear, no one will care.

I look down and I see angry lines, white and cold, red and hot.

Crisscrossing my legs, my wrists, my arms, my soul, my heart.

I reach for kindness and find none.

All I feel is cold indifference, so much that I'm not sure that the kindness I seek is even real.

I just want to go home, but home is gone.

I scream, but no noise comes, no one looks.

I was right. No one cares.

I climb up, up higher and higher until I touch the clouds, up until the stars are closer to me than anything.

I look down, I see the drop.

Down, down, seemingly endless it goes down.

I could fall forever, but do I want to?

I decide yes.

I jump.

This is a beautiful poem. I loved it. I beleive you have just captured the insecurities of man in so few words. Many people go through what you have mentioned and they ask the same questions. People push and shove each other around and they don't care. You want to shout but nobody listens and nobody cares. Every one climbs the mountain of life but very few have the courage to jump down of the precipice and into the unknown.
