Summary

Only two people in the world share the same birthmark. The person with the same birthmark as you - whoever it may be - is supposed to be your soul mate. You were made for each other, a true love to last a lifetime. Some people search their whole lives to find a person with the same birthmark as theirs. Some never do. Some meet their match and decide that they’re not who they want to be with, after all. It’s your life, you live it however you choose. Sam loves Will. She knows she does; that much is obvious. He loves her back, and they’ve been going steady for nearly three years now. There’s always been the knowledge though, the understanding that somewhere out there, their true loves were waiting. So what happens when Sam finds hers? A guy she could’ve searched her whole life for, suddenly standing right in front of her. What about Will? Should she go out on a limb and risk all she’s built with him for a guy she barely knows? Would you?

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

Without opening my eyes. I raised a hand over the alarm clock and brought it down hard.

Silence.

After listening intently for a few seconds, my ears began to register the steady breathing beside me. Satisfied that Will was still asleep, I carefully swung my legs over the edge of the bed and sat up slowly. I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand and just when I was about to get up and walk to the bathroom, I heard a rustling behind me.

Dammit.

“Good morning,” Will mumbled into his pillow. His voice was heavy from sleep and a lot huskier than usual, and suddenly I was turned on.

“Good morning. Sorry I woke you.”

“Where are you going?”.

“To take a shower, and then to work.”

"Noooo,” he whined, and stretched out his arm until his hand was around my wrist. “Stay with me,” he pleaded, yanking gently at my arm until I pulled his hand off of me and turned to face him.

"What?” I giggled, leaning over him. He was facing me now and his brown hair hung in curls over his forehead, the tips barely reaching his eyes. Our gazes locked, and he smiled up at me.

“Kiss me,” he said. The tone of his voice didn’t make it sound like a question or a command; It was simply a statement.

"Ehhhh. . . .” I turned the other way and was starting to leave when his hand gripped my arm and yanked me back down onto the bed.

My laugh was muffled when Will put his lips to mine. I smiled into the kiss and he smiled back, rolling me on top of him so that he was laying on his back and I was straddling his hips.

I pulled my head back to look at him. He was smiling, and his brown eyes seemed to sparkle in the dim lighting of our bedroom. Seeing him lay beneath me, knowing he was wearing nothing but a pair of briefs turned me on even more, and suddenly I’d forgotten all about my shower.

I leaned down to kiss him again, much slower than before. This time when our lips met, I sucked at his bottom lip before biting it gently. I noticed a growing pressure against my clit and couldn’t help but smile, grateful that he’d finally given me something to work with.

I planted my knees firmly around his hips as I started to grind on him. His hands trailed slowly up my legs until they were around my waist, stopping to trace patterns on my ass through my underwear. Once his hands were around my waist he tightened his grip and pushed them down, helping me create more friction. His erection grows bigger with each rock of my hips and it isn’t long until he’s got a full hard-on.

I ride him a bit longer and just when it seems I  can’t take it anymore, he puts one hand behind my head and wraps his other arm around my waist, rolling us over so that he’s on top of me. We’re kissing again, and despite the fact that we’re both crazy with lust he manages to keep it gentle, sensual even. His hands move to the hem of my tank top and I raise my arms so he can lift it off with ease. I hear it land with a gentle thud on the ground as he moves his hands to my breasts. His thumbs stroke my nipples softly and I moan into his mouth. He trails his lips to the side of my face and up my jawline, and then down my neck and chest until they’ve reached my right breast. I let out a slight gasp and arch my back. I can feel his length pressing into my thigh, and can’t help but feel slightly annoyed at the fabric between our naked bodies. The anticipation is killing me. As he starts to make his way to my other breast, i grab his head and tilt it upward until he’s looking at me.

“I can’t take it anymore,” I whisper.

He smiles, but it’s not a teasing smirk. His eyes are genuine and I know he wants it just as badly as I do.

Will untangles the sheets wrapped around us and tosses them to the side, where they join my tank top on the floor. He removes his boxers just as quickly and I take off my underwear at the same time. I finish first though, and as soon as his briefs leave is hand I roll on top of him, pinning him to the bed again and straddling. He lets out an audible laugh and my heart flutters at the sound.

I lift my hips and then gently lower myself onto him, tilting my head up so that our eyes are locked by the time he’s completely inside of me. He lets out a sigh of relief and I smile at the look of contempt on his face.

I lower my chest onto his and flip my hair so that all of it is on the side of my head and out of the way. He starts kissing my elongated neck while his hands find my ass. They guide me as I begin to rock slowly. He lifts me a bit so that he can thrust as well, and soon we’re in perfect rhythm.

“Sam . . . .” Will moans into my ear.

His thrusts become more intense, and soon I’m ready to climax.

“Will . . .” I gasp, “I’m so close. . .”

Within an instant I was on my back again. Will worked over me, his thrusts becoming more frequent while somehow maintaining their usual tenderness. I wrap my legs around his waist and force my hips to meet his. Every thrust drives me closer to the edge, and he can sense it.

“Wait for me baby,” he mutters, but that just makes it harder to hold in. Within seconds I’m coming, and I cling to him while releasing a drawn out whimper. With one final thrust Will releases a grunt and throws his head back, shooting his seed deep inside me. He collapses on top of me and drops his head over my shoulder, panting heavily into my ear. After a few seconds, Will rolls over onto his back next to me.

We laid there for a couple of minutes, catching our breath and going over the last few moments in our head. I almost feel guilty for asking Will to stop and just get on with it, because he usually prefers to make me come a few times before he gets a turn.

Oh well.

I roll over so that my head is on his chest and close my eyes, focusing intently on his heartbeat. I listen until it’s completely evened out, and when I open my eyes again I notice his birthmark sitting right in front of my face, etched into his left pectoral. My heart doesn’t fall at the sight of it anymore; I don’t immediately glance down to the birthmark on my foot, don’t think too deeply about the obvious message they spelled out. Instead, I force the thought to the back of my mind and begin tracing it with my finger while humming absent-mindedly to myself.

“How do I know that song?” Will asks. His fingers trace patterns on my lower back, and I loved the tingles it sends up my spine.

"Jackass” I mumble. Of course he knew that song. It was our song.

He chuckles and kissed the top of my head. “What an awful song.”

"Hey.” I whine, raising my head to look at him. “The Beastie Boys had some pretty good hits.”

“Eh, that’s a matter of opinion. Either way, Sabatoge is not playing at our wedding.”

I pouted at him. He’d never liked that song; I discovered that early on in our relationship. So when he’d get mad at me for something or we’d get in a fight, I would just start singing it. Apparently, I looked so ridiculous trying to sing-rap it in a loud enough for him to hear that he would always laugh, no matter how hard he tried not to. He said I looked cute; most people had another name for it. Like, annoying as hell and completely embarrassing/awkward.

“As much fun as planning out our non-existent wedding is, I’ve really gotta get in the shower. I’ve got work in an hour, and traffic’s a bitch once I hit the city.”

I kissed Will once more before rolling off of him. As I stood to stretch, I heard him grunt behind me.

“You know,” he started, “you should really put some clothes on.”

“Bite me,” I said without turning my back. I started toward the bathroom, and he sighed again.

“See, that’s the problem. I’d like to do a whole lot more than just bite you,” was the last thing I heard before closing the bathroom door behind me.

“Oh, okay,” he yelled from behind it, “I see how it is. Sorry I annoyed you with my love!”

I tried to quiet my laughs so that he wouldn’t hear them, but failed miserably. I heard him chuckle back at me before turning on the shower and stepping in.
