The Siren's Song

On this warm soil we'll lie, we'll love

beneath the tallest palm.

Making juice from the fruit of my lust and sing

joining the sea and the curlew's wing

in the storm and in the calm.

On this wide earth somewhere, somehow

you'll hear my heart song call.

Map my lust on your flesh hot beneath the skin

dark as my eyes and deep within

your shadow walks my wall.

On this green bank I wait, you'll come

soft steps call my name.

Feel my lips in reply seek the taste of you

flesh upon flesh and wet with dew

we play our hungry game.

On this isle of love I'll kneel, I'll feast

upon your root my boy.

Drinking deep from you soon when the salt sap goes

from tip to lip as pleasure flows

and know the taste of joy.

On your slim hips I'll take my seat

and take you deep inside.

I'll bend down for a kiss and I'll hold you down

ride on the staff that bears your crown

I live, to lust, to die.
