Of all humanity, what is there of it?

Or what might anyone say?

The fish, reptiles, mammals and birds

Plants, shrubs, trees and forests

Land planted, farmed and cultivated

People do things, have things and have their lives

On their own little bit of turf, they have their house

And they call it their hearth, their home and their own

As well, they read, watch a television, listen to the radio and they have a computer

It is all they have and more than some others

Yet all of them, the plots of novels

Or the plots of all stories

Plus news stories, science stories and sports stories

To take but one thing that is the thing itself

And in this take something back

That is yours, of every one and it would be forever more

What could it be, nevertheless, but a girl, a kiss, a hug and a small flutter of the heart in the breast?

Her body with curves and boobs, his angular, hard and muscled, broad shouldered

And that one thing all this adds up to is desire,

It is love and to be loved as well

Yet, it is just this one thing,

A girl, a kiss, admonitions of love, a lovers' tiff,

Then, more firm flesh, heaving boobs, soft words, tears of joy and hope and some of sadness

And then, nothing else but tears, age, brittle bones, hair loss and decay

Yet, there is, in all unending love

And, faint now, memories of a kiss.

The End
