Summary

During the second age of war, when the mighty Ne'chehhet empire set out to make war upon the Cho'nieb people in the south in order to punish them for the wrongs which they committed against the Bonku'eb people, subjects of the empire, a timeless drama did then unfold. A little boy was kidnapped from his home and made a slave in a distant land, and the vanity and pride of one leader threatened to bring destruction to an entire people. An old man sought to atone for his past sins, risking everything for the sake of peace, and a young woman was forced to sacrifice everything she held dear. Here lies a tale of love and hatred, of kindness and cruelty, of selflessness and greed, of pride and humility, of peace and war.
