Topic: Favorite things to write about

Clearly m/m, but let's go with some other things here, start a discussion.
I like writing m/f, f/f, m/m/m, and beating my characters up. big_smile It's great character development....

Re: Favorite things to write about

I like odd pairings, unlikely match ups between seemingly incompatible characters and the like. I also like to blur the lines between 'top' and 'bottom', it thrills me to no end when the obviously bottom character takes control of a scene, or when Mr. tall dark and mysterious turns out to be shy and timid.

Re: Favorite things to write about

I prefer writing same sex relationships (mostly M/M and some F/F). I also prefer that my couples are interracial or different nationalities (diversity is very important to me). I like to switch things up with my M/M couples; the one you'd think would be a top is actually a bottom and vice versa, though I also like to have certain couples switch things up. I tend to stick to supernatural stuff, like right now I'm focusing on vampires, but I would really like to write more slice-of-life stories as well, one of these days.

Re: Favorite things to write about

I love writing about m/m but in a universe where being gay is normal so, there's no worry about HIV, condoms or judgment just a story where the main male characters happen to like each other. I can focus more on the story which has cheating, lies and crazy.

Re: Favorite things to write about

I personally love writing all kinds of things, I only focused in MxM in this website though. My favorite kind of pairing is having two very intense characters in opposite ways. Like for example one is extremely out going while the other one is extremely introverted. It's just fun to have them both have strong emotions to things the other has to work hard to understand because that's what relationships are about. The genre also varies, but when it comes to Mxm i love having more relate-able topics so i try not to deal much with fantasy topics even though I enjoy reading those kind of stories. It's important for me to have both characters to be opposites, that way they are both very unique even in the way they talk and behave.

Would you all read Chapter five of my story Poly Family Values and let me know if the scene between Randy and the pizza boy is accurate?
