A/N: Hey guys! This Rose/Scorpius story is kind of an emotional drama where the weak and lonely Rose Weasley learns to break out with the convinient help of Scorpius Malfoy, Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I own nothing.

"My only love sprung from my only hate!
Too early seen unknown, and known too late!"

Rose looked across the compartment. Empty as always. You would think that a nice girl like Rose Weasley would have made some great friends by now, but no.

She was now on her way back home for the Christmas holidays, and she was watching the cold landscape fly by her window. Once in a while Albus or Louis would check on her, but that was about the company she would get for the trainride. Oh well, not entirely. Zabini and Malfoy used to pay her a visit just so that Zabini could call her a 'filthy little mudblood' and maybe send her a bad hex.

She sighed by the thought of the two Slytherins. Stephano Zabini and Scorpius Malfoy. She clearly remembered their first day at school, when Zabini had faced her family and her in the hallway. He was fast, shooting insults at her and Albus. Malfoy had soon came along and called Albus several bad things, but not once had her said anything to Rose. This quickly intrigued her and she soon found herself thinking of him before she went to sleep and hoping to see him as she woke up. She always tried to spot him in the corridoors and in Potions class and Care of Magical Creatures.

Sometimes Rose wondered if Scorpius Malfoy also looked for her when she was looking for him. If her ever thought of her. But that was impossible. Her parents wanted her to be with Lorcan Scamander, one of her godmothers sons. But she didn't harbour any feelings for the boy. It seemed that every one of her cousins liked the idea though, so they often let them be alone together. It helped a lot that Lorcan and his twin brother, Lysander, both were in Ravenclaw with her while the rest of her family were in Gryffindor.

She sighed deeply in depression as she turned her head to look at the door, waiting for someone to intrude her in her thoughts. Maybe Lysander would pop up, but she doubted. He had gitten himself a leading lady. Her name was Kiara and she was a very nice and loyal girl with the heart of a big teddybear. She was in Hufflepuff after all.

She hoped that Lorcan would not come sonce she was in no mood for his constant flirting and barging in on her while she was reading. How he even found her attractive was a pure mystery since Rose didn't have very high thought of herself. She had her mothers hazel eyes, her hair was some sort of in-between dark red and mahogny, and her skin was nearly white and slightly freckled by the cheeks. Rose also appeared very thin, and the school nurse had asked her to eat more, but Rose just didn't feel like she could take it in.

Food had always been something that Rose couldn't really understand. She was hungry nearly all the time, but the thought of eating frightened her as well as the thought of getting fat. Whenever she glanced in a mirror she saw that huge doughnut surrounding her waist, hanging down on her hips. She saw her huge ties and overarmas.

She sighed yet again before opening her backpack, searching for the book she was currently reading. It was an old copy of Hamlet, and Rose had enjoyed the book so far. The way William Shakespeare descriped his characters deepest feelings was simply amazing and his words were wonderfully pulled together.

As she was in the middle of reading a sentence, the compartment door barged open. She gasped and made a little jump before turning her eyes towards the door.

It was blocked by the tall frame of Stephano Zabini. His broad shoulders and his bis size alone let almost no room for Scorpius Malfoy who was standing behind him. Rose could already feel the tears brush against the back of her eyes.

"Well well, if it isn't the Weasel," said Zabini, his tone was mean. Rose cringed slightly, awaitening the attack.

"Stephan," Scorpius hissed. This made Rose look up in confusion.

Scorpius was a bit taller then Zabini and he wasn't as big. He was thinner and he wasn't as quidditch-toned as Zabini, but he was only seeker on the Slytherin team.

"What?" Zabini hissed back in frustration.

A silent tear escaped Rose's eye. Her constant hunger and the pressure that she felt was lying on her made her an easy target- Mostly because she didn't dare shoorting anything back at him.

"We don't have to," said Scorpius. Zabini just rolled his eyes.

"You're right, she's to easy. Look at that baby, already crying," he said and pointed at her face, her eyes were now as wet as the ocean and her cheeks were red of embaressment.

When they had left the compartment, Rose let out a little sob.

*

Rose was standing in the yellow kitchen in the little blue house they were living in. She put a strand of her softly curled hair behind her ear. Her hair reached her right under the shoulders.

They were having the Potter's over for dinner. Mostly so that Hermione and Ginny could talk about the upcoming wedding between Dominique Weasley, and her fiancée,Cetus Greengrass. The fact that she was actually marrying a Greengrassdisturbed her uncle Ronald slightly, but Ron had never really ancountered with any of the Greengrass-family, and he approved Cetus.

The wedding was in three days, andDominique was just having this happy smile on all the time. she andCetus had been together since they were thirteen. Rose thought that twenty was quite a young age to get married in, but she didn't interfeer. Cetus was a laugh and very handsome. And he aeemed to really love Dominique.

Rose, Lily and Victoire were bridesmades. Of course Victoire was made of honour since she was Dom's sister. Rose didn't get who was best man, since she had already floated into her fantasy again, but she knew that it was Cetus' sisters son. Well, Cetus had eleven sisters, so to know who would be quite difficult.

Rose looked out the window at the forest that surrounded the house. The trees were covered in beautiful white ice and snow, and every once in a while you could spot a deer or a rabbit peek out from its hiding place.

"Rose?"

Rose made a little frightened jump, and twirled around in a hast, just to find her mother standing behind her.

"Oh God, you scared me, mum," she said. Hermione smiled mildly and sat down at the kitchen table. There was an exploding sound from the livingroom. "Exploding Snap?" Rose asked her mum. Hermione nodded.

"That's whi I went looking for you."

Rose sat down across from her mum.

"How's sixth year going so far?" Hermione asked her daughter. Rose thought about the question for a while.

"It is going fine. I'm getting okay grades, and I feel better," she answered.

"What did madam Polkins say at your last meeting?" her mum asked.

"Didn't she owl you?"

"Since there were only three days until break she probably didn't find it necessary," Hermione said. Rose played with a strand of her hair.

"It went okay I guess." She tried not to smiled by the joy she had gotten when she had seen her weight. She had lost a fine amount of weight.

"Did you get any new friends?"

The question didn't surprise Rose. Her mum usually asked about this in every letter she sent, and everytime Rose was home.

"No, but I don't mind being alone," she answered.

"What about Lorcan?"

Why did her mum have to ask all these questions? It annoyed Rose utterly that her mother couldn't see that she wasn't interested in Lorcan Scamander.

"What about him?" Rose tried to play stupid.

"Oh, don't you see? He really adores you Rose." Hermione smiled widely as she said this. Rose suddenly felt guilty and looked down at the table.

"I know," she muttered. Hermione just sighed.

"We just want you to be happy Rose," she said. Rose looked up at her.

"Can't I choose who I will be happy together with?"

Hermione smiled.

"You know, when your heart first starts to speak it's easy to follow it," she said. Rose had heard this before. Her mum always used to say it when she sensed that Rose was uncomfortable or unsure of something.

Rose nodded.

*

"Oh my GOD!"

The scream came from Dominique, who was currently wearing her snowy white wedding dress. She had just put on her tiara, and was now gaping over the face staring back at her in the mirror. Lily Potter just smiled, Victoire was crying and Rose was just chuckling. The mades were wearing creamy white strapless dresses. It had taken some time to get Harry and Ron into letting their daughters wearing the dresses though.

"Calm down, Dom," Lily said. Victoire and Dominique both sent her annoying glances, but Rose just rolled her eyes. If it had been up to Lily they would have been wearing jeans and Converse now.

"Cetus is one lucky bloke," Victoire said. Dominique just beamed.

Lily ran a hand through her waist-length straight fiering red hair.

"Yeah, you get Cetus and I'll get that hot nephew of his," Lily said. Rose suddenly payed attention to her talking.

"Which one?" she asked her cousin.

"Scorpius of course!"

Rose froze, her eyes grew wide as she stared at Lily.

"As in Scorpius Malfoy?" she asked.Lily.

"Yeah, why?" her cousin asked. Rose just shook her head and let out in a little peeping voice:

"Nothing's wrong." Lily had a strong feeling that Rose was lying. She knew that Rose grew nerbous around people like Stephano Zabini, but she usually held no grudge against Malfoy. Or that was, until now.

After about thirty minutes, Bill Weasley came inside. He was smiling mildly but Rose could see that he had been tearing up a bit. Well, this was his daughters wedding. Rose wondered how her own dad would behave once she was about to marry.

Guess it depends on who the groom is, dosen't it?

"C'mon sweetheart. It's almost time," he said. Dominique smiled thankfully to her father as she linked arms with him. Rose placed herself behind Victoire. The mades were placed after size and since Vic was 6,1 she was the tallest. Rose herself was pretty normal 5,8 while Lily was pretty petite with only 5,6 to brag on about.

The music started playing downstairs. The wedding was held inside an old, but beautiful church, in town. It was also quite big, so there was a seat for everyone.

Rose could feel hoe her hands began to sweat as she held the buqoet of white lilys. She tried to focus on her breathing, but it was rather difficult. The big double doors opened and everyone stood up to see the bride. Rose quickly noticed Cetus there in the end. His eyes were welled up in tears and he was smiling blissfully. This sight made Rose smiled. She then turned her eyes to Scorpius who was standing by his side. He was looking especially handsome in his tux. His hair, however, was just as messy as usual. Sometimes Rose used to joke that he could've beaten Albus if there was such thing as The Messy Blokes Hair-championship.

But Rose didn't usually joke.

Her thoughts quickly flew to her own appearence. Did everyone see her fat? Did anyone see how pale she was, and then wondered if she was sick? Did they see how gross and ugly she was?

She stood between Lily and Victoire, and that was not good for anyones self esteem. But she chose to focus on the wedding instead of freaking herself out.

She had never seen Dominique this happy. She envied her cousin at the moment Cetus said Yes. But at the same time she could not not begin to cry. And for the first time in a long while she cried from joy and not fear.

Outside the church Rose found her way over to her cousin Louis who was currently chatting up one of Cetus's many cousins. It was weird how Cetus could have even more cousins then Rose.

As soon as Louis spotter her, he left the pretty gitl and came straight over to her.

"Have you been crying Red?" he asked as he put an arm around her. Rose nodded and smiled.

"It's great having something to be happy about, isn't it?" she asked him.

"Yeah, it is. Now I'll be an only child," he said and they both laughed.

"But are you okay?" he asked her after a while of laughing. They were slowly beginning to walk towards the reception that was being held in a huge tent outside Bill and Fleurs house, the Shell Cottahe.

"Of course! Why shouldn't I be?" she asked. Louis looked her up and down and sighed. Did he think she was fat?

"Your weight Rose," he answered. Rose's face fell down a mile.

Suddenly, James II caught up with them- He started telling some pointless joke and he actually expected them to laugh.

*

Rose was staring at the plate in front of her. It was filled with food that she couldn't eat. There were way to many calories in it. But of corse everyone else wasn't as fat as her. She was sitting between Louis and Albus, who was busy talking to the pretty blonde in front of him.

"Rose," Louis whispered. "Please eat." Rose sgook her head and said: "I'm not so hungry." Of course Louis didn't believe her.

She looked across thetent where there were three long tables placed. Her hazel eyes met Lorcans blue. He waved and she weakly returned the gesture. She then moved her eyes over to the happy couple who were sitting by the end of the middle table, about five seats from her. They had just held their speeches which Rose, to be utterly frank, hadn't heard much of.

Her eyes darted from them to the figure sitting next to Cetus's mum, Gygna.

Her warm eyes met his cold and in a wand flickering second she saw some sort of emotion fly through his usually perfect Malfoy-mask. His eyes suddenly radiated warm and surprised. They pierced through her, like daggers. But not in the mean way. No, his eyes were curious, confused, lost in some way.

She quickly removed her eyed down to her plate, hoping that no one had noticed it.

A/N: Very low on Rose/Scorp action, I know. But the next chapter will contain more of that. Oh, and just for the record this story is somewhere near the genres hurt/comfort/romance. Now ya'll know :D Please comment and tell me what you think 'bout it :) UNEDITED!!!
