Grace woke up the next morning in Vincent’s bed and he was nowhere to be seen. She didn’t know what to do, return to her room, or stay. Thinking if Vincent didn’t return in the next ten minutes, she would attempt to get to her room without being seen. Rolling onto her side, Grace leaned over the edge of the bed and took her dress off the floor and slipped it on. Stepping onto the plush white carpet, she gazed around Vincent’s huge bedroom and was surprised how plain it was. The carpet, walls, curtains, and bedding were all white. Dark wood doors led to walk-in wardrobes that were as big as large rooms, in the corner of the room there was a large white leather sofa and a minibar opposite a television that was fixed on the wall with shelves full of sports DVD’s and magazines.

Opening a door in the corner of the bedroom, Grace’s mouth fell open with surprise as she stepped inside. It was a huge marble-floored bathroom with a sauna, a large white marble bath next to a shower unit, and next to it was what looked like a body dryer. Grace pressed a button and stepped back as air gushed around the unit, she thought how cool it would be to have a shower then stand in the body dryer.

“What are you doing?” Vincent asked standing behind her.

“I wasn’t snooping,” She jumped back thinking she was in trouble.

“Why not?” Vincent laughed. “I’d have a snoop if you left me alone in your room.”

Grace shuddered at the thought of Vincent alone in her room; he’d find the nanny cams. Making a mental note never to leave him alone in her room she followed him back into the bedroom.

“I’ve just been to collect today's newspapers.” He said walking back into the bedroom. He began to open them and spread them over the bed. “Look at this.” He grinned

Grace’s eyes widened, there were pictures of her and Vincent leaving the restaurant. The main picture that was being focused on was the one where Vincent had his arm around her. The reports said that there had been rumors about Vincent and Caroline divorcing. They also questioned if the girl was Vincent’s new love interest and wanted to know who she was. “My parents are going to kill me.” She muttered looking for her handbag. “I’d better ring them.”

Vincent placed his hands on her shoulders. “If you’re looking for your handbag, I’ve just seen it downstairs. Go and have a shower first then ring your parents after breakfast when you’ve had time to clear your head.” Grace nodded and picked her thong and bra up off the floor. “You can have a shower here if you want.” He grinned.

“It’s ok,” Grace choked a little laugh. “I’ll have one in my room; I need clean clothes.”

“Make sure you put something comfortable on,” Vincent called watching her walk away.

“Like what?” she asked.

“Jeans and t-shirt,” Vincent answered folding the newspapers.

“Why, what are we doing today?” She curiously asked.

“When your oils have been delivered, we’re going to Chris’s house,” He smiled reaching for his cigarettes.

Grace paused in the doorway wondering what they were going to Chris’s house for but couldn’t be bothered to ask why; she’d got more important things on her mind. “Ok.” She shrugged.

When Grace had left his room, Vincent stood on his balcony gazing across the garden and took a long draw of his cigarette. Ever since Grace moved in and Caroline had disappeared, life had felt so much easier. Chris had told him it was because, after a long dry spell, he’d had Grace to fuck his frustrations out on. Vincent smiled, he enjoyed spending time with Grace. She was so full of life and made him laugh. Even though he’d got enough money to last ten lifetimes, he had been bored and unhappy for a long time, and now, he was finally looking forward to divorcing Caroline so he could be a free man and get on with his life.

…………

When Vincent and Grace had finished breakfast, they went to the living room to have a proper read of the newspapers. As they entered the living room Grace could hear her mobile pinging. Taking it out of her handbag, Grace’s eye’s widened. “Oh my god! She gasped staring at her mobile. “I’ve got over fifty text messages!”

Settling on the sofa to read them; they were all from over-excited friends from her hometown that had seen her in the newspapers, asking what was going on with her and Vincent. Vincent told her not to reply to any of them because no one was to know just yet what her connection to him was.

Just as Grace read her last text, another one came through from Caroline, saying, SKYPE NOW!!!!

Grace excused herself and went up to her room and turned her laptop on. Before she accepted Caroline’s call, she pressed record on her mobile then answered the skype call. Caroline’s shocked face showed on Grace’s screen. “Oh my god Grace!” She cried. “How the hell did you get Vince to go out with you! I’ve got him by the balls now. Everyone’s seen you together. I’ve had so many calls today telling me about it. I’ve just sent Richie out to buy some newspapers.” She excitedly babbled. “Surely you’ve got to have fucked him by now.”

Grace knew she couldn’t tell Caroline why she was out with Vincent and didn’t want to record herself admitting that she’d slept with him. In fact, she didn’t want to speak to the sour bitch at all. Grace remained silent forcing a sly smile and slowly nodded.

Caroline’s eyes widened. “Did the nanny cams record it?”

“You’ll see everything on the day you pay me,” Grace looked towards her bedroom door pretending someone had called her. “Ok, I’m coming!” she shouted then turned to look at Caroline. “I’ve got to go, Vincent’s calling me.” She lied reaching to her laptop to cut the call. “I’ll speak to you soon.”

Grace wandered around the house for ages trying to find Vincent and eventually found him in his office; he was arguing with someone on the phone. Grace stood behind him and began to massage his shoulders; he looked stressed. “Is everything ok?” she asked when he put the phone down.

Vincent rolled his shoulders and smiled. “That was the press again, wanting to know who you are.”

“I guess you didn’t tell them.” She giggled.

“No, I didn’t, but I did tell them that I plan to fuck you in every position imaginable tonight.” He grinned.

“What!” Grace gasped moving her hands off his shoulders.

Vincent spun around in his chair, grabbed her by the waist, and pulled her onto his knee. “I was only joking.” He laughed. “Unless you want me to.”

Grace nuzzled her face into his chest and gazed up at him, stroking the small beard on his face. “If you got rid of this hedgehog and let me see those cute dimples, I might just let you.”

“You’re a naughty girl,” Vincent laughed feigning shock. “I think you’re out to corrupt me.”

Grace suddenly felt guilty; what he’d just said was too close to the truth. “Ok, I’ll behave then.” She forced her sweetest smile.

“It’s too late to change your mind.” He laughed nuzzling his face against her neck. “You’re definitely in for it later.”

Grace rolled her head back trying to push Vincent away from her, she couldn’t stop laughing. Vincent moved his head back and gazed at her, moving her messy hair off her face. He was beginning to see what Chris had always said about her, Grace was a natural beauty; what you see is what you get with her and that was a rarity amongst the women in their world.

Just then the internal phone rang, it was one of the maids, there was someone at the front door with a parcel for Grace that needed to be signed for. Grace excitedly ran through the house. Taking as small parcel off the courier she placed it on a small table by the door and signed for it.

Vincent took the parcel from the table. “I’ll get one of my staff to take this to the office for you while you get ready to go to Chris’s house.”

“But I am ready,” Grace laughed.

“What I meant was, go and get your bikini and a change of clothes.” He said walking away. “We’re going to have a relaxing night chilling in his pool.”

“Are we staying there tonight?” Grace asked surprised.

“Yes,” Vincent looked back at her grinning, taking his mobile out of his jeans pocket. “We’re going to have some fun tonight, then tomorrow we’ll be refreshed and ready to play with the media again.”

Vincent rang Chris to tell him that he and Grace would be with him within the hour and to meet them at the lake while Grace ran upstairs to go and pack a small suitcase.

“Where does Chris live?” Grace asked as they climbed in the back of Vincent’s car.

“Not too far away,” Vincent answered sitting next to her.

The chauffeur began to drive towards the back of the house. “Where are we going, shouldn’t we be driving the other way?” Grace curiously asked as she opened the window and leaned out of it.

Vincent nudged her. “Look to your right.”

Grace's eyes widened, in the distance, she could see a black red and silver-colored speed boat on a lake. “Oh my god!” She squealed. “Are we going to Chris’s on a boat?”

“Yes, Chris is my neighbor.” He laughed. “But not like the ones you’re used to. He lives about eight miles away.”

When the Chauffer parked by the lake, Vincent thanked the driver as Grace excitedly scrambled out of the car.

Vincent stepped onto the speed boat with the small suitcases and held his hand out to Grace to help her onto it. Sitting down on the red and gray leather interior seat at the front of the boat, Grace stared at it in awe, “This is incredible.” She beamed.

Vincent sat in the driver’s seat and started the engine, “I’ve had this a while now and if you think this one’s incredible, wait till you see the new one I’ve ordered, it’s nearly twice as powerful as this.” He proudly stated. Grace held onto her seat as Vincent slowly drove away from the edge of the lake. “Are you ready?” He grinned.

Grace squealed with laughter and held on tighter as the boat began to speed across the lake. Her hair blew wildly with the rush of wind, she fought to hold her hair down, and in the end, gave up. Water sprayed in her face as Vincent swerved from side to side, laughing at her.

Twenty minutes later, Grace could see what looked like a cabin on the edge of the lake; she was surprised when Vincent slowed down and drove the boat into it. “Is this like a garage for boats?” she curiously asked, noticing two speed boats parked inside it.

“Yes, it is.” She heard Chris say.

“Chris!” Grace’s heart fluttered when she saw the tall blond figure of him walking towards her.

“How’s my favorite girl?” Chris smiled holding his hand out to her.

“I’m great,” Grace beamed stepping out of the speed boat straightening her messy hair. “I’m totally blown away by all this, when I’m at home if I want to see my neighbor, I climb over a fence.”

Chris took the small suitcases from Vincent as he climbed out of the boat. “I’m looking forward to tonight, it’ll make a nice change staying here than at yours all the time?”

“I agree,” Vincent puffed his cheeks running his fingers through his hair. “As soon as the divorce is over, we can all get our lives back to normal.” He laughed.

“Too damn right,” Chris said looking at Grace. “Well, let’s not ruin our time talking about that bitch. We have more important things to deal with don’t we Vince.”

“We sure do,” Vincent grinned as they all walked towards Chris’s car, hoping that Grace would be ok with what they had planned for her.
