Keeping her composure all evening, Lacey kept a smile on her face and made pleasant conversation with everyone. Whenever she glanced across the room at Evan, he was always looking at her, it felt like he was watching her every move, waiting for her to make a mistake.

Evan was proud of her, he had been nervous about his friends meeting her, Lacey was unpredictable and he never knew when she was going to lose her temper. Even though she had been drinking quite a bit with Charlotte, Lacey held herself together with grace. It was beginning to hurt him that Lacey still wanted to leave, she had made it clear to him that she just wanted to pay the debt and leave. He had tried so hard to make her want to stay but nothing could buy her, he didn’t know what else to do. He had never spent so much time with a woman before, after a few days they bored him but there was something different about Lacey, she still excited him just as much as the first time they met. He was now having second thoughts about approaching her about the business deal he had in mind for her. He had got to know her so well now; he knew she wouldn’t agree to it. But that evening before they all sat down for dinner, he had set it up without asking her, just out of curiosity.

Later, in the evening, Charlotte suggested that they all go out to one of Evans clubs for the rest of the night. Evan wasn’t too sure about going but Lacey wanted to. How could he refuse her big blue eyes looking up at him as she pleaded with him to go, she had never been to a night club before. When Evan reluctantly agreed, Lacey full of excitement ran upstairs with Charlotte to get changed. Charlotte was full of advice to how Lacey should dress, she insisted that she wore the little black dress that she had noticed in the wardrobe earlier on in the day. When Lacey put it on and refreshed her makeup, she looked at herself in the mirror and couldn’t believe how short it was, she felt super sexy in it. Then suddenly wanted to change again because she thought it was too short. Charlotte told her to keep it on because it would drive Evan wild when he saw her in it.

Lacey’s stomach swirled at the thought of driving Evan wild, so what if she was only his whore, she enjoyed the sex she had with him. She was a little bit drunk now and at that moment didn’t care anymore, she had begun to love the sexy feeling when she dressed up.

“Do you know what else you should do?” giggled Charlotte.

Lacey curiously looked at her. “What should I do?”

“Do you feel sexy dressed like that?”

“Yes, why?

Charlotte slyly smiled. “Do you want to feel sexier?”

Lacey shook her head and laughed, she didn’t think there was anything else she could do to feel sexier. “Yes.”

Charlotte giggled. “Don’t wear any nickers.”

Lacey gasped. “What!”

“I do it all the time, especially when Ralph’s friends are around, it drives him crazy knowing I’ve got nothing on underneath my dress and when he gets hold of me we have the wildest sex ever.”

Lacey nearly fell of her chair laughing. “I can’t do that!”

“Yes you can Lacey, go on I dare you.”

Lacey took a deep breath and slipped her pants off.

Charlotte linked her arm through Lacey’s. “Right, let’s go and have another drink but don’t tell Evan what you’ve done until I tell you to, Ok,”

“Ok.” Lacey nodded.

Lacey and Charlotte were in fits of giggles as they walked down the stairs. Evan was surprised, he had never heard Lacey giggle like that before but he was happy that she was having fun and he couldn’t take his eyes off her, she looked stunning in her little black dress that showed every curve of her body.

Driving into city in a convoy of four cars, Lacey could hardly contain her excitement as they pulled up outside the club. As they walked past everyone queuing up outside to go through their own private entrance, once again from a distance someone was taking photographs of them.

Evan wrapped his arm around Lacey’s waist and held on tight to her as they walked through the club to their private table on a balcony. Lacey was in awe of the place, with the bright lights flashing and music pounding, she knew she was going to have fun. After a few drinks, Charlotte took hold of Lacey’s hand to lead her to the dance floor, then stopped and nodded her head towards Evan and giggled.

Lacey sat on Evan’s knee and wrapped her arms around his neck, she moved his head close to her and told him that she had got no nickers on, then moved away to watch his reaction.

Evan sat back for a few seconds trying to process what she had just told him, he moved her off his knees and ran his hands around her hips and backside. He looked up her in shock, he couldn’t believe how she was behaving. So much for Charlotte showing Lacey how to act like a lady, she was an influence but not in the way he thought she would be. Evan grinned and grabbed Lacey by the hips and pulled her back onto his knee and passionately kissed her.

Charlotte then pulled Lacey away from him and took her to the dance floor and as they danced the night away Evan watched every move she made. He couldn’t get over how confident Lacey was becoming; she wasn’t the same girl that he met in the alley all those weeks ago.

Ralph nudged Evan. “What’s up with you tonight, you’re quiet?”

Evan rubbed his face and took a swig of his drink. “I don’t know.”

Ralph laughed. “It’s her, isn’t it?” he nodded in Lacey’s direction.

Evan moved around on his seat looking a little uncomfortable with the conversation, which made Ralph laugh.

“I’ve never seen you like this before Evan, is this why you’re stalling on offering her that deal?”

Evan shook his head and gazed across the dance floor. “She won’t do it.”

“Don’t you mean, you don’t want to offer her it?”

“Ralph she’s got some fucking temper on her, if I ask her, she’ll.”

Ralph raised his brows and finished Evan’s sentence for him. “Leave?” He patted Evan on the shoulder. “Listen to me, it’s not what everyone would do but it works for me and Charlotte. So before you drive yourself insane you’ve got to work out what you really want from her, so either marry her or fuck her off out of your life and offer the deal to Racheal, that slag will do anything for you.”

The way Evan looked at Ralph then, his face gave it all away. Ralph had known him for over twenty years and had never seen emotion in Evan. Ralph sat back in his chair. “She’s got to you, hasn’t she?”

Evan looked back across the dance floor at Lacey and nodded.

Ralph took hold of Evans shoulder and turned him to face him. “Then you need to get a grip of yourself and take some control over her. Do you know how she feels about you?”

Evan sighed. “She doesn’t feel anything for me, she keeps telling me that she wants to leave.”

“Let her go then because from what you just told me, either way you are going to lose her.” Ralph said coldly.

Evan sat back deep in thought, watching Lacey who was still dancing and giggling with Charlotte on the dance floor, he was then distracted by an old friend who came and sat with him at his table.

Lacey shouted over the loud music to Charlotte that she was going to the toilet and staggered away, pushing through the crowd of people around her. After cooling her face with cold water, she stood in front of the long mirror on the bathroom wall, pulled her dress straight and ruffled her hair up. She like what she saw now when she looked in the mirror. Never in a million years did she think she would be living in comfort, not having to worry where her next meal came from and wearing beautiful clothes. She was determined now that when the debt was paid and she left Evans house she would work her hardest to make her life better than what it was before. Maybe she should go for a career change from washing dishes in Evan’s restaurant to working in the back room, she knew what money the girls made there. Lacey smiled, it wasn’t that bad being someone’s whore.

Walking back along the long corridor to return to Charlotte, Lacey noticed a man walking towards her.

“Hi.” He smiled as he passed her.

“Hi.” She replied, thinking he may have been one of Evans friends.

The man suddenly grabbed her from behind and put his hand over her mouth. “Don’t make a sound.” He snarled and began to drag her down the corridor.

Lacey struggled to get away from him but his grip on her was too strong. He dragged her to the end of the corridor and pushed her against the wall. She was terrified, the man kept his hand over her mouth and squashed her against the wall. “Now be a good girl and I won’t hurt you too much.” He growled. “You’re Lacey, aren’t you?”

Tears rolled down her face, her eyes were wide with fear, Lacey nodded, she couldn’t breathe from the weight of him squashing her. He rubbing himself against her, she could feel him getting aroused.

“I want a free sample before I make my bid on you to see if you’re gonna be worth it.” He pushed his hand up her dress. “You dirty little whore you’ve got no knickers on.” He sneered.

Lacey panicked and struggled with him as he unzipped his trousers.

When Evan finished talking to his friend, he looked towards the dance floor and noticed Charlotte dancing on her own. He scanned the crowd to see if he could see Lacey anywhere but he couldn’t, he suddenly felt uneasy. He went over to Charlotte and asked where Lacy was, she told him that she had gone to the toilet ages ago and hadn’t come back.

Ralph saw Evan suddenly run through the crowd pushing everyone out of his way, he knew there was something wrong and followed him.

Lacey was struggling against the man crying, she couldn’t breathe, his hand tightly covered her mouth as he unzipped his trousers. He pressed his leg between hers, trying to force them open. He was going to rape her and she couldn’t get away.

Suddenly someone grabbed the man and he was thrown to the ground and Lacey fell with him. Looking up, she saw Evan and Ralph, Ralph pulled her up off the floor and held her head against his chest. All she could hear was the man shouting and screaming as Evan beat him, she tried to look around but Ralph held his hand over her face. When two security men turned up, Evan picked Lacey up bridal style and carried her up the corridor and Ralph followed, all she could hear in the distance was the man still screaming as the two security men carried on beating him.

Evan carried her through the crowd and outside the club. He threw her in the back of his car and told the driver to take them home. All the way home Evan was silent, Lacey curled up on the seat sobbing while Evan stared out of the window in silence, rubbing his forehead like he was stressed.

When they arrived at his house, he told her to go to bed and went into the living room and poured himself a drink.

Lacey went to the bedroom and got changed into her nighty and sat sobbing on the sofa, waiting for Evan to come upstairs to her. She thought he would come and see her to see how she was but he didn’t. Lacey nervously crept down the stairs to see where he was, she could see him on the sofa still drinking and could hear him talking to someone on his mobile. She stood by the side of the doorway and listened to the rest of his conversation.

Evan knocked his drink back and rubbed his forehead. “This is why I’ve never wanted anyone to live with me.” …… “I don’t know, maybe a moment of madness.” …… “I’ve tried.” …… “Like I said earlier she doesn’t care and wants to leave.” …… “What can I do about it?” …… “I’m going to let her go.” …… “Ok see you later, bye.”

Evan stood up to pour himself another drink and Lacey quietly ran back upstairs to the bedroom.
