She is alone in the silence of her room, she's still trying to get over what happened to the club. She will not allow herself to think much about it anyway.

The years have passed, some of them slowly and some have spiralled around her in a crazy whirlwind. It was those years, the ones who are so fast, the ones who shaped her into her present being. She has come to terms with herself and has come to wear her pain as she wears her corsets. She has not revealed the cause of it to anyone, she has just stood straight both in the face of adversity and what passed for contentment.

Perhaps she ought to feel sad but she doesn't, there is no sadness in her, there is only an immense feeling of weariness. Some people just like to hurt others and when they can't get away with it they turn their hate inwards, this is the only explanation she can find for what happened at the club.

Someone taps softly at her door, she knows it is her sub, he just wants her to know her bath is ready. She gets up, walks to her bathroom, and sinks herself into the perfumed water, her sub is nowhere to be seen, he knows she wants solitude. It is in this solitude that she enjoys the foamy water engulfing her body.

And it is just then, triggered by the caress of the water and memories that will not leave her mind, that her tears begin to flow. She's crying, she's crying for all the times she had to be strong, she's crying for the girl she was and she's crying for what she has seen tonight. Her tears mix with the water.

For a while, she feels as if her blood is draining from her body and this feeling makes her panic, she imagines the white foam turning crimson with her blood and she finds it difficult to breathe.

Will she sink into oblivion, pushed into it by pain? She doesn´t realize she has cried out for help.

Someone enters the bathroom and two strong arms pick her up. She's wrapped in a soft bath towel, dried and carried to her bed She is relieved when she hears his voice,

"Forgive me mistress for entering your bathroom unannounced. I felt you were in much pain. I just want to say I'm here for you."

And then she sleeps, she sleeps contentedly because he will take care of her tonight-
