My name is Amy.  While Iwas in college I made arrangements to shadow a lady GP because it would help me get into medical school. I didn’t want it to interfere with my studies so I did it in the summer after my junior year..

There were a lot of various reasons why the patients came to see the doctor.  There were the colds and flu cases.  The little babies had colic.  Cases of vomiting and diarrhea etc.  The one I remember best was a boy of 14 who needed a sports physical.  I had no idea what a male physical entailed when the young man appeared with his mother at the doctor’s office.  When I followed my doctor into the examination room, I thought it would be much like the my physical.  The medical assistant had already done the routine stuff like telling the patient to strip to his shorts, measuring him, weighing him, taking his blood pressure and heartbeat.  The doctor took out her stethoscope and listened to his hearts lungs and abdomen.  Then she checked the flexibility of his joints and reflexes.  The she had him stand in front of her and checked his overall physical appearance.  Suddenly she said to him, “I have to check you for a hernia, please lower your underpants.”

It surprised me almost as much as it did him.  No doctor had ever asked me to do such a thing.  I had only sisters so I had never even seen a naked male before.  It immediately got my attention.  He stood there stupefied for a moment and then looked at his mother sitting in the corner and me standing next to the doctor.  He asked looking at me, "Does she have to be here?"

The doctor said, "Yes, she is assisting me today."

I was glad that she said that because I wanted to see my first male genitals.  After it was over I wondered why she said that because it wasn't true.  I didn't have to be there.

The doctor repeated herself, “Please lower your underpants so I can check you for a hernia.”  He did not answer her nor did he lower his underpants so she grabbed the hem of his underpants and yanked them to his knees.  He covered his genitals with his hands.  The doctor said, “I can’t examine you when your hands in the way.  Please remove your hands.”

He complied slowly moving his hands away from his genitals.  I couldn’t take my eyes off his genitals.  I wanted to see my first naked male.  He was so embarrassed to be naked in front of three women.  Slowly, a fully developed penis and testicles appeared.  As it did, I could see that his penis was growing.  I was taking notes for the doctor so I wrote down what she said, “Tanner stage 5.”

She then took her middle finger and inserted it in the side of his testicles.  When she did she said, “Turn your head and cough.” Then she did the same thing on the other side.  She then said, “Examination of the inguinal ring shows that it has closed.”  Then she started feeling his testicles themselves.  By this time, I had a sexual response myself.  His embarrassment and his growing penis excited me.  Then I recorded what the doctor told me, “Examination of the patient shows normal genital development.” 

Then the doctor said to the patient, “Turn around and bend over.”  He did and when he did, she spread his cheeks and checked his anus.  Then the doctor said, “You can turn around now.”  When the patient turned around his penis was fully erect.  I was mesmerized.  I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.  He was so different from me.  I couldn’t believe how large he was.  I wondered how anything that large could fit into me.  I now realize he was only normal in size but then I didn’t know any better.  I said, “Wow!”

Then I asked, “Are all boys that large?”

She said, “You are curious aren’t you.  No, he is not, he is about average.  The average penis is 5.2 inches when erect.”

“How big is he?” I asked.

She said, “Probably about 5 ½ inches.”
