That was what my ex-wife, Leanne, had said to me one morning out of the blue when I had gone round to pick up my son for the day.

It's actually quite a poignant insight and took me even more by surprise since I'd long believed Leanne to be fundamentally spoiled, selfish and shallow.

But maybe I was wrong. Uncharitable even. Perhaps I was the bad one but just couldn't see it. I don't know.

Anyway, this is the tale - a tale of tears, lust, kink, betrayal, revenge and regret - of my life which was set on a different path after that heart-breaking event.
