another poem about someone turned to the darkness.

Dark Heart

Tears I cry in the shadows.

My love made me his,

He marked me on my neck and my soul.

Sun sets and I wake up at my own funeral.

What once was a beating heart of gold is now dark and dead.

Black heart of mine is black like my hollowed out soul.

Nice..
This is an allusion to a vamp, but I like the vague reference. It might not be magical at all, only metaphorical. That's the mystery of poetry, and you seem to understand it.

I like "waking up at my own funeral"

I'm left a bit wanting, though... The end is superficial description and adjective heavy. Punch this a little bit harder. Why so black? Who have you become?

Thank so much. The person in the poem has become a vampire of a darker side of herself.

Dick Wood

A person who gives themselves to someone only to get treated horrible. Now she has no trust and will treat those the same, a soul sucking vampire. Will never find true love, someone to trust. Sad. :(

its love when you have given yourself up completely. In my eyes I love vampires and my depression mixed into one. Because no matter how hard i try. I will never find my forever love. I mix my depression and darkness and fantasy into one of my short stories and poetry.
