It appears to me that former students who became "loners" at school too often go back with assault guns and seek revenge.

All new students.

MUST be included.

The movers and shakers on campus have to go out of their way if they have to .

A brooding rejected personality for a young male is a recipe for disaster in a very small percentage of young men.

A lone wolf is a dangerous predator in the "wild".It is also the case with humans.

THE CAMPUS CULTURE MUST CHANGE.

Even if only in some small ways.

is the campus culture that has created these misfits, or is it the lack of proper parental guidance, teaching the fundamentals of "right and wrong" ?

The shootings are not limited to schools, Lemon. I do agree that it's likely most if not all these shooters share certain characteristics. All of them are male as far as I know. Most are loners. I group them in with serial killers - they just kill everyone at once. Displaced anger and aggression with the means to create massive damage.

It is interesting that we all want to focus on guns and ignore other things like violent video games that encourage the player to perform mass killings. We are instructing people on killing and then have the audacity to wonder why it's happening.
