Your parallel body,

with skin like marble,

not withered by Time,

not weary by desire,

resting next to mine

in the soft slumber

pervading our limbs

after lust and climax.

Your parallel soul,

bright torch burning,

hiding in shadows,

seeking my own,

dancing in corners,

two souls rejoicing,

the meeting of bodies,

their satiated hunger,

their mutual lust

curbed for a moment

till the first sunlight

awoke them to Life.

Love the last line of this. It's...fulfilling.
Fabulous imagery and depth. I like the idea of starting with the physical and moving into the intangible - body to soul - how you use positioning as a reference and ultimately intermingle every aspect of being..
