All Alone

All alone, here comes the flood
Empty skies and tears of blood
With petals of innocuous leaves
From the thorn of crimson red

With my love weeping so pale
Spreading over my veins
And my broken bones
Making my bed

For dark is my egregious sin
Of poetry's damning lies
Empty skies and tears of blood
Waiting for the choiring hummers
