Digging up the past.

I Read in my local newspaper today that an "Israeli" Archaeological "dig" has unearthed remains that suggest that us humans evolved from different forms than previously known.

The "dating" showed that between 140,000 and 120,000 years ago this human species was completely different to "modern humans".

This is a "cat amongnst the pidgeons" because it seems to me that modern man must have co-existed with this newly found sub species.

The recently found bones show no chin and very large teeth.

It has already been verified that humans like us are somewhere between 200,000 and 160,000 years old.

It is breathtaking that the transition from "tree dwellers" to us today was interupted with a backward step in tandem with our modern humans today.

I am sure that if we did a census of every person alive today then we would find distinct variatons in both physical and emotional capabilities. This is obvious to me anyway at a casual look around.

I Think that of all the animal kingdom on earth us modern humans are both the most clever and also dynamically diverse creations.

Like radioactive sunstances I think that our species is constantly in a state of "flux".

We have made this world a dangerous place for all life forms with "man's inhumanity to man" so to speak.

Our species I Think anyway has to be wary that it does not fall off an evolutionary "cliff" sometime in the future.

Perhaps this is the subconscious reason that our clever scientists are obsessed with artificial intelligence.

What we are really doing is recreate human intellect to minimise human error so that our species can be assured of survival for many thousands of years to come.

Way too cerebral, but like anything, who says we evolved from the same species.
What if there is a higher evolved genetic mutation that sits out of site?
I wrote a story called 'The Sheeved' which proposes that very scenario.
P.s. it's on amazon, but I don't publicise it.

lol!! .
It is the simple "digging holes" that unearths our history.
Not even a supercomputer can give the same conclusive results.
Yes there could be a link out of sight you say Kal.
It may be that all land life started off as sea life.
Some species such as penguins fish at sea during the day and have their nests on land for the night.
Living in Melbourne you have probably been to the world famous penguin parade at dusk on phillip Island.

Or with AI, we become mindless drones for those in power.

What? No chin and very large teeth? Oh, those guys are still around. I see one every day in clinic. Here's the thing, Vanilla. Their teeth aren't really that big. It's an optical illusion. They just look bigger without the chin.

Anyway, think about how weird we're going to look to people in 140,000 years. Do you seriously think they will still be doing spray on tans?

I think revolution will come before any more evolution
Modern humans are adapting to constant change
AI will be the main ingredient
We will have to mould our own species from now on
Test tube babies will be a reality in the next 50 years
Us humans I think will be the new mother nature.

Thanks for replying Megan
