Melinda: All right, he is lucky to be alive.

Amanda: Are you happy he is alright?
Melinda: What kind of question is that? Of course I'm glad he is alright?
Amanda: At least right now he isn't spending all your money and hurting you.
Melinda: What are you saying?
Amanda: Apparently, you enjoy being hurt by him.
Melinda: I love him.
Amanda: You may love him but you are aren't happy and your family is drifting apart. Kate already left because of him.
