Warning flashes in your eyes
As we circle each other warily
Your muscles flex, your weapons ready
I am not afraid
Rain breaks from heavens quilt
Rolling down our bodies

Striking out your mark is found
My eyes open wide in shock
Hands clasped to my breast, sink to my knees
The pain is sharp and heady
Arms hold me from earthly settlement
Lips parting as my neck lolls
Your kiss upon my throat breathing life into my sole
