Not Close Enough
You look into my eyes
The conversation halts
As the moment settles on us
The realization sinks in
You reach out and brush my hair back
Your fingers sliding across my skin
Fire at the tips
Yet leaving icy trails
I've played this moment
Over in my head
Plotting my reaction
But now that it's about to happen
My plans are forgotten
Lost in your eyes
Examining me, waiting for protest
Dark and hungry
For the taste of my skin
I offer no argument
As you lean in
As our noses brush
And our foreheads meet
You're right here
Tangible and so close
I'm wrapping my arms
Around your neck
Your fingers twisting in my hair
I grin as your lips brush
The very brim of mine
I feel your breath, warm on my tongue
Something stirs inside
I want a taste
But I stick to my guns
Pull back from you
Eyes sparkling
As you stare at me in surprise
Then a smirk as you realize
The hunt is on.
You reach for me
I duck and squirm away
Grab for the door
Squeal as your hands snatch my waist
Pull me back
Into your wide embrace
I wiggle but cannot escape
The excitement builds inside
My cheeks are hot
My fingers tingle
Yearning to touch you
For our skin to mingle
You're pushing me down
Down into the sheets
Your face hovers above mine
Long hair cascading around me
A curtain hiding us from the world
This time I am defenseless
I have no desire to resist
I want you so bad it hurts
Your body presses down on mine
The contact makes me throb
With untold desire
You grab my hair in greedy fists
There is no where
I'd rather be
Than right here
So close
You press your mouth to mine
Demanding and hungry
I respond, grabbing
Pulling you closer
Wanting to melt into you
You're not close enough
Our bodies tangled together
An erotic puzzle
You're never close enough
You kiss me deep
Tracing my lip
With a warm tongue tip
You know just what to do
You pull away
I gasp for sweet air
Then want you to take it away again
This just isn't fair
I yank you back down
Loving the noise you make
As I crush my lips back into yours
I know just how to handle you
I know this is trouble
But I don't care
I don't know where this will go
From here
All I know is
You're not close enough
Press into me
Skin on skin
Please come closer
