We met at my mother's Goddess Dance. I wasn't dancing, though I wanted to. I sighed. I wanted to leave but didn't want to risk my mother's wrath. She required the whole family be there tonight.

"Little sister. Why aren't you on the floor dancing? You should be out there wooing the boys with your wonderful charm."

I was about to make a rude retort, when my mother walked up with two other people. "Son, Daughter. Behave yourself. Now this is Ericka and her son, Bain. We are offering them our allegiance. So be on your best behavior."

Ericka laughed as she said, "That sounds like what I was just telling my children."

She then turned to Bain and said, "Bain why don;t you ask one of these ladies to dance?"

My sister looked away, so I said, "I don't mind dancing with you."

I thought I saw a slight smile appear across his face as he took my hand and led onto the dance floor. He pulled me into his arms and I got a good look at him. He was very handsome with blood red eyes, and his silver and black hair. We stood there on the floor for a second. He raised an eyebrow as he waited for me to finish my examination of him. He stepped back and held out his arms.

He stood there like that as he waited for my reaction. I smiled and gasped as he placed his hand about my waist. There was strength there. I started chewing on my lip to keep form moan aloud as he pulled me close. He was making me melt. His hands radiated heat throughout my body.

I felt weight-less as we twirled around on the floor. He was a marvelous dancer. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, "Is it true that you are married?"

His voice quaked through my body, it was so deep. He pressed me closer as I answered, "No that was a rumor my family and I put out to stop unwanted pursuits"

He smiled as I continued, "And don't you think that is a little personal to ask on a first dance? What about you? Are you married?"

He chuckled deeply as he said, "That is one thing you don't have to worry about. You are not stepping on anyone's toes."

I laughed, "Ok. That is nice to know but I wasn't worried about stepping on anyone's toes."

He quirked an eyebrow at me as he said, "Oh really..."

A grin spread slowly across his face as he continued, "If you weren't worried then, why did you ask?"

"because you were prying."

His gaze slid down my body as he pressed me closer, "That is a nice outfit you are wearing."

I laughed, "Do you like it because it's so revealing?"

He shook his head, "No. I just think it goes well with your hair."

I blushed as he smiled and said, "I would really like to get to know you better. May we go somewhere more private?"

We had stopped in the middle of our dance when he asked me this. I gave him a curious glance and said, "How about we get to the point... What do you want from me?"

He pulled me over to a chair and sat down. I crossed my arms when he patted his lap. He sighed and grabbed my skirt. I gave a slight squeal as he sat me on his lap and crossed my legs. Once we were settled, he placed his hand on my outer thigh and said, "Now tell me.... What do you mean by asking me that?"

I sighed, "It's just that, lately whenever a guy talks to me, all he wants is sex and I'm tired of playing games."

He nodded his head as he said, "I understand that but I'm not like that. I have a genuine interest in you. I actually want to get to know you better."

I sighed, "How do I know what you say is true?"

He looked me in the eyes, "You don't.Just take into account for the fact that I haven't propositioned you yet. All I have done was ask questions."

I gave him a slight smile as I said, "That is very true but this could all be a great scheme you have planned."

He laughed, "While you are very much worthy of a great scheme, bear in mind that I had no time for such. So I guess you will have to trust me."
