Chapter 6: Halfway there
I woke up to the sun shining in through the window, onto my face. My eyes opened and I realized that I was sleeping on top of Keifer. And I felt him. We were still very much naked.
I let my mind wander for a bit, my thoughts drifting back to last night. I was very sore. We did it three times last night. And it was….the most amazing thing I ever felt.
I got out of bed and pulled on my panties that were halfway hanging off the bed and I grabbed one of Keifer's shirts and put it on and opened the door to go downstairs.
I heard talking. An argument…but only one person. Lilly. She must have been on the phone because I didn't hear anyone else.
"Luke, I don't care about what you're saying. I know who she is and why she's working with you."
"You're sleeping with her, Luke. Yes you are! Don't lie to me like that!" She sighed and then there was a long pause as I peeked in.
"I can't do this. All I ever tried to do was look for a father figure for Keifer, and Rae. But I don't need you. Goodbye, Luke." She hung up and put the phone on the table. I heard her sniffing so I knew she was crying.
"Lilly?" I asked.
She wiped her eyes before turning to me and fake smiling. "Hi, darling."
"Are you okay?" I asked.
She nodded. "Yes, sweetie. I'm just….I have allergies."
"Allergies to assholes?"
She chuckled. "Very much so."
"My ex was one."
"They're everywhere. Soon there'll be a city of them."
I nodded, agreeing.
"So, I know that you and Rae have a strong disliking for each other but her and Marcy work at this very nice clothing store. I think you should check it out. Perhaps Keifer can take you into town today."
I smiled. "Thank you."
She nodded. "Go buy some more clothes so you won't have to keep wearing Rae's." She dug into her housecoat and produced a few bills.
"Lilly, you're already letting me stay I couldn't take your money."
"I'll be even more upset if you don't."
I look at her and she nods.
I take the money from out of her hands and smile. "Thank you."
She smiles and walks pass me up the stairs.
I sit down on the couch and run my fingers through my hair, thinking. Once I get a job, once I get the money, I got to leave.
No more Lilly
No more Keifer.
No more Keifer……
"Damnit." I whispered.
I got up and went back upstairs into my room and Keifer was woke in bed. His blue eyes looked to me and he smirked.
"Hi." I whisper as I shut the door.
"Come here." He said in a raspy voice.
I go over to him and get into the bed.
His fingers run through my hair, down the side of my face, down my chest, my stomach, to my thighs and then between them.
I closed my eyes and raised my chin as I moaned and push myself into his hand.
"So ready, already." He whispered. I opened my eyes and nodded. "Yes." I whispered.
"Good." He sat up.
I got off the bed. "Your mom is woke and will probably hear."
He got off the bed, following me as I was backing up.
"That didn't stop last night from happening."
"Well, I didn't want you mad at me." I was now backed into the desk and I stared at him.
"That's the only reason what happened, happened?"
"Well no, I wanted it."
He nodded, a sexy smile on his face. "I did too. I still want it." He grabs me and puts me on the desk. "Now." He whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes, my body responding to his words.
Keifer placed his hands on my thighs and spread them apart. His fingers slip underneath the shirt. "Lift up." He says.
I do it as he pulls my panties down my thighs, to my ankles and they fall from my dangling feet.
"I think I want you to keep the shirt on, I like how it looks on you."
He smiles, putting both his hands on both of my cheeks and leans to me. I lean into the kiss, closing my eyes. I moan as he pushes his erection against my pussy.
"Want it?" He asked in between kissing me.
"Yes." I breathe.
He nods as he pushed me towards the edge of the desk and sinks into me.
"Keifer, oh!" I moan as my head throws back and my eyes are closed as he fills me.
He thrust sharply and I cry out, digging my nails into his shoulders and locking my ankles around his waist.
"Harder…please." I beg.
He thrust hard, making me cry louder. I close my eyes, feeling him. Feeling him in so deep. It feels so good it almost hurts.
"Is this the store?" I asked pointing to a little, square brick building with the word 'Blue' on it."
Keifer nods, holding my hand. "This is Rae's store."
He opens the door for me and I walk in and then he walks in after me.
The store is filled with hundreds of racks with clothing. Mostly everything is blue.
A girl, red head came over to us and she smiled up at Keifer.
I looked up at him and he looked annoyed. "Uh….hi."
"What's going on? You haven't called me in months."
He nodded. "I know um….I've been feeling really down lately."
"For seven months? Geez, you might need a doctor."
He nodded. "You're right. I'm going to go look for one over here." He walked away from us and I watched after him.
Whoever this girl was, he didn't want to be bothered with her at all.
I look to the red head girl. "Hi, I'm Keifer's girlfriend."
Her jaw dropped. " Wow, I didn't think he'd get another after Lessa."
"Well he has me." I shrugged.
The red head nodded. "I'm not like his ex or anything. We're just ex fuck buddies."
I nodded. I think I already got that. "Oh…okay." I nod.
She smiles and it made me very uncomfortable.
I gave her an awkward wave before going off to find Keifer.
He was on the other side of the store, his back turned to me.
"I see why you left." I said. He turned around and nodded. "Yeah."
"So she's number what on your 'fuck' list?
He raised his eyebrow. "My 'fuck' list?"
"I don't want to talk about it….truthfully."
"It wouldn't make me uncomfortable. Your past is your past, Keifer."
He sighed. "Fine. I've fucked half of the town." He said. His blue eyes stared into mine and he was not smiling. He was serious.
We were both glaring at each other now. I don't know why I felt so much jealousy in the moment. I just told him I wouldn't feel uncomfortable. Yet…here I was.
"What are you doing here?" Marcy came to us.
Keifer broke his eyes away from mine to look at her. "Lilly wants you to charm your boss to let Kris work here."
"He's happy with just me and Rae. He'll say no."
"Make him say yes."
"Yes, Marce," Rae came into my line of sight. "The sooner she gets money from her job, the faster she'll leave."
Keifer sighed and looked down at me. "Don't worry about her." He said.
"I'm not. I'm not scared of her."
"You should be." Marcy smiled.
Keifer stepped between me and Marcy and Rae. "Look, mom wants me to try to get her a job here. Where's your boss?"
"In the back." Rae said.
Keifer grabbed my hand but I snatched it away and walked to the back myself. Me being mad at him for sleeping with a lot of girls is ridiculous.
It was his past so why was I so upset?
There was a gold wooden door all the way in the back.
I knocked on it.
"Come in." Said a man.
I opened the door and peeked in. I walked into a messy office with clothes thrown all over the place.
My eyes laid on a guy, African American and he was sitting at a desk in the corner, writing something down.
I can see he had on a gold short-sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans.
He turned his head. "Hey baby, how can I help you?"
"Uh…well, my name is Kristen and I'm staying with Rae's mother, Lily, and she recommended I come for you to look for a job."
He smiled, his teeth straight and bright. "Oh yeah, baby. Any friend of Lilly's is a friend of mine. How old are you?"
He nodded. "Right. And how much do you care about fashion?"
I shrugged. "Uh…enough?" I asked.
He twists his mouth in curiosity. "How well do you communicate with people on a scale of one to ten? One being bad."
"Err…five?" I asked.
He nodded. "Mmh… I see. Do you hate Rae as much as I do?"
My eyebrows rose. "Maybe more."
He smiled. "You're hired, baby."
He nodded. "Anyone who hates that red head is hired."
"So why is she still working for you?"
"Because I got a deal with Lilly. She said she'd pay me money by the end of every week if I can hire her. No one else wants to hire her because of her skanky ass attitude."
"So when can you start?"
"Umm…how soon do you need me?"
"Tomorrow at nine thirty?"
"Okay. Thank you."
He smiled. "Dress cutely, girl."
"I will. I kind of want to buy some clothes from here today."
"Cool. Forty percent discount."
"Are you serious?"
He nods. "I give Rae a ten percent."
I giggled. I liked…..jeez, I didn't even know his name. "What's your name?"
I nod. " Well, I'll see you tomorrow.
I walk out of his office.
When I did, I saw Keifer standing against the wall waiting for me.
"I wouldn't have told you if I knew you'd get mad."
"I'm not mad." I walked pass him to a rack of skirts. I always liked short skirts for some reason. I studied them before grabbing a little black one and a jean skirt. Then I went to another rack and grabbed a few shirts and a pair of shorts.
"I think you're lying. I think you are mad."
"I'm not. I'm picking out clothes to wear." I said and then found my way into the dressing room.
I opened the door and he was about to follow me in but I stopped it.
"I've already seen you without any clothes on. You're not still embarrassed are you?" My cheeks grew hot.
"Of course not. I just want to be alone."
"Well I rather be alone, with you." He opened the door wider and walked in with me and locked the door.
I sighed and put the clothes down on the bench and took my shoes off.
"Are you really that shocked?" He asked, leaning against the door.
I unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them down to my ankles and stepped out of them. "I just didn't know it'd be so many, Keifer."
I took my shirt off and put on a light blue one that was open in the back.
"The town is small. I'm not saying that I fucked the whole state."
I looked at myself in the mirror. I liked how it fits.
I grab the black skirt and slip it on. "That's what it feels like to me."
"Are you even aware that I haven't even looked at another girl in that way since I met you?"
I looked at him and then pulled off my shirt and tried another on.
"I haven't made any of those girls my girlfriend. I don't take anything I ever had with them seriously like I do with you. Only girl beside you I've ever actually taken seriously was Lessa. And that was it."
I turned to look at him. "I take you seriously too."
He stepped closer to me and sighed. "There's a reason out of all the girls I've been with, I made you my girlfriend. You're smart. You have a big heart. You're selfless, beautiful, spontaneous….." He got closer to me and grabbed me by my waist and our lips met.
His hands went down to my butt and he pulled me against him hard.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him push me up against the mirror.
I didn't ever think I'd want someone so badly in a dressing room.
When, seconds ago, I was just mad at him because of jealousy, and now, I just want him.
I love the way he taste. Fresh, like mint. And I love how he smells…a tad of cologne and fresh soap. He was just intoxicating.
"I want you." He whispered against my lips and pulled me up, with his hands under my thighs.
I nodded. I wanted him too. Right here….right now.
There was a knock on the door and Keifer reluctantly made our lips part and was breathless.
"Who's there?" I asked. My voice was shaky.
"It's Nickie, sweetie. We don't do that in here. Come on…I just hired you, baby. You can't do that."
I sighed. "I'm sorry, Nick. We'll leave."
"Alright, come pay for your stuff, baby."
I heard his retreating footsteps and I looked to Keifer. "I blame you."
He smirked and sat me down on the floor.
I took the skirt and shirt off and put on my original clothes.
He watched me until I got ready and we walked out of the dressing room.
We went to the register and I paid for the stuff and then we walked out.
I was so excited to have my first job.
But the thought that I would have my first job kind of set me on edge. It meant that soon, I'll have enough money to leave.
But I already knew I loved Keifer. Could I really leave him?
