Bain shifted awake, pain roiled through her but it was ebbing. She looked up and saw Ty looking down at her. His eyes were gold and she smiled, both he and his wolf were frightened. For her. "Thank the goddess." Ty growled and she smiled warmly.

"Sorry." She apologized. "How long was I asleep?"

"Six hours." Ty said and moved his legs. He stood up and she felt warm water leave her, chill swept in and she cursed.

"Warm clothes." She urged. Ty nodded and moved to the sink, where towels and clothes were set. She felt the ground uner her but her legs slid out with weakness. Ty caught her and she watched his face contort with change. She pressed her fingers to his face. "It's okay, I'm alright, just tired. Some food and the moon will heal me."

He nodded but she saw the pain on his face. "It's okay Ty, you protected me while I was weak."She smiled and kissed him, inhaling his earthy scent, his comforting weight holding her up. "I saw more memories, of my brother and I."

"Good, still a child?" Ty asked.

"Yes, why havent I progressed in age?" Bain asked, she stripped her shirts off and Ty helped her out of her pants and thermal pants. She sat still as he dried her off, she couldnt help but notice how he remained mostly submissive. As if now that they had adressed their pack status, he was actually playing the part. But she wondered if it was really an act. His eyes flicked up, still gold with his wolf so close. "I think my mind is skipping over something, like a repressed memory."

"I would wonder if it was our problems, but you remembered most of them." Ty said.

"Most?" She frowned. "What else hindered us?"

"You will remember, the worst one." Ty said, and he stood up the gold bleedign back to blue. "If I force the memories it could break your mind."

"What else could be wrong, did you do something else? Or was it me?" Bain asked. She frowned, the only thing she had thought of was her turning him, was it that?

"It was alot of things, a hard time for you and a very hard time for me. It's okay. Let's focus on your brother." Ty said.

"Yeah," She nodded, it wouldnt help trying to force her memories, they proved elusive. "I wonder about how my memories are coming back. I remembered you and Claire in time to fight her. Now I'm remembering in time to hunt for my brother."

"I believe theres more to it than that Bain." Ty said honestly as he helped her dress, she was suddenly warm in her new clothes. Then he moved to dress himself. "Your magic and power are a part of you. It will protect you, I think it's deciding when to give you memories, what your mind can handle, so that you dont have to be as suspicious of things. You were suspicious of me, but you grew out of it the more you remembered."

"Like my mind is building me back to myself?" Bain asked.

"Like it's merging the old Bain with the new." Ty waved his hand and she nodded. That made sense.

"Okay, so how do we find my brother? Or is that too early to figure out?" Bain asked.

"You are the only person in the entire world, minus any mate he may or may not have, that can find him." Ty said and ruffled his hair. She stood on her own and stretched her legs as they regained their strength. "It's part your twin bond, part the magic you share and dont share."

"Thats beating around the bush Ty." She sighed. "So I have to use my twin bond to find him. Which probably wont work becaus emy mind hasnt seen fit to let mem remember what that bond feels like. It could feel like trying to commune with the Goddess, or the earth, the water. It would be like the bond we share, I'm not ready to find him yet it would seem."

"Then we focus on the Slayers and Claire. We cant leave here with her trying to find him. What do you want to do with that?" Ty waved towards the door and she walked over, he led her out and to a stair case.

"We should find out where Claire is roosting and run her off. Or have her daddy come save her again. If I go in trying to kill her, he'll intervene." Bain sighed. "She wants power, maybe I can throw her off my brothers trail by offering myself and taking her out."

"I dont like that idea." Ty growled and she felt his anger at the very idea.

"Bain!" She turned to see Kimi, she ran forward and hugged Bain. She hugged back and smiled. "Youre okay?"

"Yes, just tired from using power." She smiled warmly. "I'll be fine once I eat."

"Well then , come in and eat." Jade was leaning on the stair case railing by them and she smiled openly. "You saved us, let us return the favor."

"Okay." Bain smiled again. She felt a furry head under her palm and she looked down at Spike. He looked relieved and she gave a small grateful growl to him. He ducked his head and growled back happily. She turned to Ty and bumped his hip. "Lets eat."
